@queen_annes_revenge: A very interesting model. If possible, could you make sure at least one of your final pics is of the model separate from the diorama, just so people know exactly what they've voting on come the end of the month?
OP should be all up to day, sorry I've been a bit lax this month but God of War has been eating all my free time for the last two weeks!
My own entry also hasn't arrived yet, it's a model I pre-ordered a while ago that was supposed to be shipping any day now, so hopefully it gets here in time for me to do something with it. And if you want a somewhat cryptic/obscure clue: Dagger, dagger, dagger....
yeah il take photos of it separately. The vehicles on the diorama won't be attached anyway to allow changing of their positions.

Hi Guys, Just joined the dakka today,
is it too late to get in on this?
i have a 4 day weekend, and reckon i can get him finished!
All i can say is. . . he ain't gonna be no Apothecary!!!!
Not very happy with a lot of things, but some warmachine models I am supposed to paint should be comming through the mail soon, so I probably won't have time to paint anything else. The model name is Strider.

Reckon I'm going to have to call it here (I realised I've not fully decided how my Deathwatch will be based, and I don't want to rush in to it. And I won't be able to do any more work on them this month)...
Kustomer D wrote: If I can do some painting this month - it's burning hot in here, I'll enter either a heavily converted Ork Nob (the first Ork in months!) or Red Hood from DC Knight Models.
Personally I'd love to see Red Hood! The mini looks great!
Just 'cause you asked for him: Red Hood
I AM NUMBER ELEVEN!!! It's like being first, but two times, right?!

Annoyingly, I took my proof picture a few days ago, but for some reason the pic isn't on my phone anymore. I don't think it saved properly. I've already started painting my entry. I was going to paint two Blood Bowl star players, but I've primed them black and painted some blue, pale brown and white onto them. Would it contravene the rules to retake "proof pics" as they are now? Or should I try to find something else to throw together in the remaining week?

Seems fine to me, as Jadenim said you're a regular so I trust you to play fair, and I've made the same mistake myself in the past! Just post a pic of where they are now and you're good

Love the reflection on the canopy, Powerelephant. He is one cool mini.
Shame you won't have a chance to finish those death watch, Smallchanges - they are looking really clean and professional.
Red Hood was definitely the right choice, Kustomer D - he looks fantastic. You've done really well with all of those fine details.
As for Felt, I'm glad we're taking his word for his proof pics...but maybe we should make him paint the rest of the mini with his left...foot. That way the rest of us have a better chance...
...notice I do not say 'certain', only 'better' chance!
Anyhow, I am going to take Modock's suggestion and paint my harlequin killteam...well, as much as I can in the next week anyway.
So after finishing my Alphas, I realize that they're sort of meh...
Would it be possible to change my entry? I will have to paint all three of these guys within 7 days, but they're Death Company, so most of my work has been done for me:
Dante, I AM YOUR FATHER!

Fluff, for any who wish to read. Slight spoilers for Dawn of War 3
Spoiler:
In Dawn of War 3, the beloved Apollo Diomedes is revealed to have relinquished his position as Captain of the Honour Guard. Below is Ra Adrastus (whose name is equivalent gods of other ancient peoples), Captain of the Honour Guard.
Known as the Victor of the Helios War, in which a Tzeentchian Daemon summoned together a group of Astartes and xenos, all named for various sun gods, and forced them to battle to the death. Many died before Adrastus led a vengeful retaliation against the Daemon, binding together both Astartes and xenos warriors under his leadership. For this victory he was promoted from First Captain to Honour Guard. He wields the traditional weapon of his office - The Stalwart Blade of Champions and wears the Holy Mantle of Elizur, blessed by the legendary Chaplain of the chapter. The inscript on the golden chest panel reads "Pain is the Deliverer of Zeal."
Ramses is the designated carrier of the Blood Ravens chapter banner. WHe wields the relic blade "Azrael's Second," an obsidian blade rumoured to be a sister to the one wield by the Dark Angel's Supreme Grand Master, and wears the power armour named "Merciless Truth, engraved with passages of the Revelation of Terra - "There is but one truth in the universe, that of the Emperor. Only His children know this truth. All others know only lies and must be swept aside." His honorific title also includes "Hero of Damascus," a mining world where, as Captain of the Third Company before Gabriel Angelos, he destroyed a Genestealer infestation with only a single tactical squad and no casualties. Ramses holds aloft the chapter's banner, depicting the Great Father Azariah Vidya, cutting down a xenos monstrosity.
Honoured Brothers Isilur and Senrial mark the only survivors of the Third Aurelian Crusade. Those few Honour Guard who did not follow the traitor Kyras into damnation were cut down by their former comrades.
Isilur, the Sentinel of Aurelia, wields the Axe of the Fearless Crusader, specially attuned to cut through the Heresy pattern armour of Chaos Marines, and the Boltgun "Unforgiving Truth," crafted by famed Artificer Isaak Jordanos. He wears the Mantle of Stone power armour, once worn by Veteran Janus and few have perished whilst wearing it.
Honoured Brother Senrial is the Chapter's Occulta Carnifex, the Secret Executioner. It is his role to hunt down any who uncover hidden secrets of the chapter, and in doing so he is ruthless. His affinity for espionage won the respect of the Raven Guard chapter, and led to the gifting of the Axe of the Ravens to the chapter. Senrial wields also the bolt pistol "Unflagging Resolve," recovered from the few remains of a brave commissar who refused to yield even as the Tyranids devoured him piece by piece. He wears the Mail of Zeal, forged in honour of Chaplain Elizur's sermon, "Pain is not the enemy. Pain is a reminder that we live on to better serve the Emperor of Mankind"

Thanks guys.
Here's the "proof" pic of how they looked last night (I've been working on them this evening.) Griff Oberwald and The Mighty Zug.
I don't know about painting with my left foot. My five-a-side team could tell tales of the damage I can do (to corner flags, low-flying birds, spectators of adjacent matches) with that foot.
