Hello everyone,

I decided to start a range of bits accessories you can print out on Shapeways.

It's a small range now, a selection of armored pauldrons for power armor models. I have plenty more designs I'm working on, in addition to weapon options, armor plating and all kinds of other parts.

You can view the start of the range here:

I'm also working on a series of sci-fi buildings for a potential Kickstarter. They are designed so they can be scaled up or down so you can use them in 6mm games, 15mm or 28mm Heroic Scale games.

You can see the WIPs here:

I want to have at least 20 buildings to start, so I'm almost there.

Let me know what you think and if there's anything you'd like to see made into bits or parts let me know.

I can't wait to see what else you make besides great pauldrons.

It might be my flu medication, but as I was scrolling through your shop, I was reminded of the A-Team where Murdoch was locked in jail and he kept yelling, "I want some traaaaaaash bags!" so the jailers just kept bringing him more trash bags... only with pauldrons.

"I want some paaaaaaaaauldrons!"

Do you need help escaping, Mechanicalhorizon?

Everyone has to start somewhere!

I figured since I had a lot of these made I'd start with them. The buildings will be next, but I'm not sure if I'll just add them to the store or fo a small Kickstarter for them.

I guess it depends on how things sell.

I think your range is too expensive. Unadorned shoulder pads for £1.10 each. Are you forced by Shapeways to provide free shipping or is that an additional expense for the buyer?

Shipping I believe is payed for by the purchaser.

When I posted them I looked at a few other bits makers and used similar pricing, but I was thinking of lowering them to $9.99.

Could be a conversion issue then. They're £11 for me, about $15 (plus shipping). When I say unadorned, I was wrong, I looked at the in more detail and work has clearly been done on the design end. Still too pricey for me though.
