so, for starters, jikes was it a pain in the ass to get a chain, my regular local hobbystore has run out and had difficulties due to the whole virus thing.
Thankfully this also coincides with the first time in days were my thumb after a attempted amputation without anesthetic has finally reached a point were it stopped hurting, got lucky but once again shows that cold hands for chopping wood is dangerous and annoying.
So, you can expect ghostly marines with more chainy bits somewhat around next few days, i have some indeas in regards to the MoP that i will modify a bit but i have first to test how that chain works out, defo a better size though.

I'd imagine off all things chaos that could possess you a bunch of wierd chains inside you probably one of the wierdest ones and probably most cruel considering you get to stick around forever stagnating.
Don't ask how long it took to get the chain to hang back with the momentum, just don't
one more chain for the MoP to deny him take off through willpower alone. Also, Backpack chain for a squad leader.

Sweeet, that ghost marine scheme works great with the pose of that lord, like coming out of the base.
You could even model cracks in the base like the soil is shattering to let the warp ghost out, and paint the inside of the cracks with the same green scheme...

And Lastly, a further addition to my mechanized: 1:35 Tamaya Wespe, allbeit i did not expect that i'd get a full on hydraulic level accurate kit to build my own for my front garden

So : i built it, as expected a bit too small for a basilisk gun calibre wise but imo a good fit for a Griffon mortar carrier....... Hopefully the new index will be kind to the griffon and R&H especially when i got more inspired recently to build some of them!
Needs more spikes though and i still got chains left over so don't mind me screaming about chains and superglue

Seems like we (FW army players) got from Rain into the flood.
Gw has seemingly squatted R&H, Corsairs (tbf that was since the beginning of 8th) and Elysians.
I am more then annoyed at this, considering they were my main reason to start this blog in the first place, not only has GW ignored these armies and left them to rot in a extremely lackluster , nigh unplayable state ruleswise,nut now this.
it's a shame, and i wonder if I honestly should remain. GW consistently ignores alot of factions, factions that now have core units not updated since 20 years or rulessuport for that matter.
Gw completly fails to realise this, even though they had multiple occaisions showing that if they'd update armies they instantly get alot more players, heck look at R&H and how the faction picked up in 7th after IA 13.
It's annoying state of affairs, but i am sure the space that GW gained and ressources for not having jack the drunk intern write these rules for these factions will be well spent on more primaris.

Sweeet, very cool trench, are you planning to make more ? Nice basiliks too, I am tempted to to start a chaos tank column once I deal with my current backlog, might get some of these ^^.
And yeah, I get your disappointment (to say the least) with the R&H, I have still hope for a dedicated codex, but well...
The barrels a bit small for a basilisk, and i intended to use them as Griffon mortar carriers anyways.
As for the trench, the next ones will be quite a bit larger, i still have some left over from the first batch, that i will turn into a Bunker. But the other i will turn into a hill set, with trenchline through, then i need a grasmat, or a deset mat, and need to make some clutter terrain.
That's it , that's when i probably will show off the first rounds on my own table. (well mostly own terrain)
As for R&H, it just sets a bad precedent, that everything not Marines, with or without spikes, can go take a hike unless the range get's updated at the time, which , for some factions is more a curbing of Units aswell, meanwhile we have now how many primaris leutnants and minor CSMHQ's?
