This was probably one of the best things GW has done to turn around their image IMO. It's been hugely successful.

I'm sure Duncan is a fine person IRL but I've seen enough of him to associate all my disappointments with GW with his smug grin. Warhammer TV is trying a little too hard to be friendly.

I liked GW best when it was some faceless corporation run by Mad Tom Kirby that clearly despised it's customers and constantly sought ways to pick their pockets. That felt honest and sincere.

Thinking about it, this video would be better if they replaced Duncan with Tom Kirby in a straightjacket saying the exact same words. Maybe standing in a dark alley, near a dumpster.

I think the community page has been the best thing that GW has done in a long time. The cast of people that are a part of it are amazing.

If you like we could form a team on site to sling insults at you every time you make a purchase, but only if that would make you feel worse about yourself making those purchases, which in turn would make you feel better about yourself having made those purchases and been told off about it. So in the end positive or negative you've still gotta deal with your own guilt

I have that already, thanks. It's called my wife. She objects to the idea of a 40k cheerleader too.

I'd be more comfortable with Duncan if there was some other 40k channel which is just videos of our loved ones talking about the social and economic impact to the families of 40k players.
