That diorama looks nice and it makes sense scale-wise. not that I would buy anything marine that's not Salamanders but it is a nice representation of what you can do in larger scales. it's kinda why primaris look better proportioned but not as cool as the classic mk's of armour. Gimme a primaris scaled MKIII and I'll shitmebritches.

Can we get an 8th Edition Militarum Tempestus supplement to the guard codex with a bunch of lore and maybe some unique stratagems/warlord traits?

I would like to see more background in army books (codex & battletome) in general. I like to hear about traditions, daily life, equipment, all sorts of details beyond the function & mentality of certain units. What is the structure of an Obliterator cult? How do Tyranids react to invasions that do not succeed? What is the proceedure for maintaining a Fire Warrior's gear? All sorts of interesting things could be put in there.
Some good ones here, particularly the tyranid one. I'd like to know what they'd do if the bulk of an invasion fleet was destroyed in space- do they land and go to ground? Lay low and perhaps consume biomass slowly in remote areas to gather their strength? Tyranid fluff seems to be either a massive invasion attacking in overwhelming numbers or genestealer stuff. I'd like to see nids winning against the odds because of better strategy

They have, but there's little to no detail on their reactions to losing. One big one I would really like to know is how Tyranids are birthing new organisms on the ground (I suppose we could look to Dawn of War but it would be nice to get details), and even more so how they birth new ships. Like you said, if a fleet is wiped out are the planetside nids stranded, or could they grow new ships?

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.
I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games. |

We do know those things.
We know from when they were first introduced in Epic: Hive War that Hormagaunts can independently reproduce and lay eggs. Ground troops are commanded by Dominatrix creatures and they too can spawn creatures. Forgeworld gave information about ground hive structures that seemed to either spawn or incubate ground creatures.
The life cycles of the hive ships is described in BFG. Hive fleets are composed of the large hive ships with mature nodes that extend the reach of the hive mind. Cruisers appear to be immature ships. Escort drones are expendable escort sized ships. Scout drones scout star systems for possible feeding grounds and have more independence through a stronger connection to the hive mind, though seemingly at the price of remaining escort sized forever.
Planetside Tyranids can spawn new ships as given by the Tyranid Codex example of Ghorala. A Tyranid fleet was destroyed by Orks but the ground Tyranids subsequently won and consumed all the Orks on the planet and then spawned new ships to take the Tyranids to their next target.

A little bit of righteous anger now and then is good, actually. Don't trust a person who never gets angry. |

The constant hyping about with and without a helmet just makes me wonder if Russ will get an optional helmet, I’ve never seen a picture of him wearing one.

Doesn't he have a massive amount of hair, enough to make Lelith jealous of his long mane? Where the hell would he put them in a helmet. I know you can tuck long hairs in a helmet without too much difficulty, but there is still a limit.
