So I discovered that my wife listened when I described some Chessex dice I was eyeballing. Golden Recon, and I was wanting to nab a brick of 36. She took the Golden Recon name and ran to Amazon, where she picked me up a pack of 10 D10's. Since she's postpartum, I dare not point out the mistake and ask her to return them. I'm left with two choices: beg my FLGS to let me at least get a little return in credit to get the brick I want, or I can try to find games that use the D10's. Absolute worst case scenario I will simply create a Yatzhee type game for me and my daughter to play.
So, yeah, what are some good games that use D10's?

D10's make for great scatter dice, sadly while I have a few rule books that use D10's I have never actually played them.
Wargods of Aegyptus, basically Warhammer 5th edition with D10's plus a cool but impractical activation system.
Reaper's Warlord. A small scale skirmish game which uses damage tracks for when units take damage.

I thought D10's were what all the cool, boutique skirmish games were using now-a-days. Yet despite having that conviction, I can't seem to think of one off the top of my head!

Both players put down a hidden action, and they they alternate choosing a unit from either side to activate. I unfortunately bounced off the Aegytpus setting, but I may try to get back in sometime in the mid 2020s when the rest of the Olympus kickstarter is released. Also Antares is fun. If you're looking for skirmish games, Fistful of Lead from Wiley Games is a simple but fun set of Wild West rules that uses d10s and maybe 5-7 miniatures per side. It has a Horse and Musket Expansion for black powder era skirmishes, and the scifi version Galactic Heroes was just released.

Stargrunt uses d10s along with all the other dice types... might be a bit too crunchy for kids though.

All of the fantasy flight rpg games use some kind of d100 (d10 and d%) system.
They're solid as far as 40k series go.

Why has nobody mentioned Wrath of Kings?
Rules are free online, stat cards for everything are free online, and most factions can be had for very reasonable prices, even post CMON black friday sale.
Seroiusly, it's a nice system that scales well, has very unique figures (but could still sneak into a typical fantasy game), and is one of the few systems that uses a d10.
You can find a 2 player starter for probably close to 20 bucks I'd wager. Comes with the cool Nasier sworsdmen fighting giant Goritsi werewolf men. Pretty sure Game Kastle had one around that price online (plus shipping).
Seriously. Wrath of Kings.

It is very cool, but maintaining the action counters over the course of a game is IMO impractical.

This, they make great counters for most games, and stand out enough by not being D6 for the D6 games

All the White Wolf RPGs and sub games were D10 based too, Vampire, Wherewolf, Exalted etc. Pretty sure Void and Urban War were both D10 based.
Try MERCS minis, it's kinda a Infinity-lite sci-fi skirmish game. The 2nd edition MERCS 2.0 rulebook is free online and includes the stat cards, minis can be proxxied or bought pretty cheaply now that they're plastic. Pick up MERCS: Recon boardgame, it got a lot of hate from disgruntled kickstarter backers but it's actually pretty fun and comes with a bunch of the minis (although it uses custom D8s for the boardgame)

Scrappers is a D10?
I might have to give it a shot.
Got an Amazon gift card from a student that needs an excuse to be used on something gaming related... how does it compare to stuff like This is not a test?

I haven't played TINAT, but Scrappers is pretty decent. There are a few things that felt a little off balanced, but overall I liked the system, and it does have the bonus of being minis-agnostic.

Okay, so normally I'd just forget about it, but my wife is still going through that whole postpartum thing, and rather than cause her to go 12 year old girl emo on me, I planned on making sure she saw the dice being used. It's dawning on me that she won't ever be around when I'm gaming, so laying in the dice box is good enough.
Have you looked up the Golden Recon dice from Chessex, though? They are gorgeous...

Oh, sorry. I forgot to mention I don't RPG on anything other than video games.
On a more serendipitous note: I split the dice up into two piles of five and added them to my two dice cases that I use for gaming. As I was putting them in my set that usually goes to my brother's house I noticed that a random turn dice D6 that was given to me matches the D10s perfectly. Same exact deco, same exact font. Also, I did hit the store and buy the brick of D6's I was looking for in the first place. A very green Christmas.

The first Star Trek RPG used D10. Don't remember the name but it was out in the early 80's. Had a cool ship crew system for starship combat, but had issues in other areas. While RPG systems seem to be out I have to add Call of Cthulhu cause it's one of the best RPG systems ever. Also Megatraveller, Traveller 2300, Twilight 2000, and Friday night fire fight (the original combat rules for Cyberpunk).
