Another new image. Probably a Possessed's foot. Is it worth adding these to the rumor engine, since they'll most likely be revealed within a few weeks?

Looking at these 'daemon engine' pictures, I'm reminded how much I want a keeper of secrets, noise marines, a few new daemon units and literally nothing else this year. I'm already full up from GSC and gloomspite.

I don't think that is the claw of a Possessed, I think that belongs to a Keeper of Secrets. Also the language used in the article would lead you to believe it is Slaanesh, not a generic Possessed Marine

Someday GW will figure out that claws are supposed to be articulated.

I'm sorry to say it looks like the new Possessed will be every bit as campy as the last.

It's a foregone conclusion that we're getting a new Possessed kit I 'spose. That's fine, I guess. I like Possessed. Just would'a preferred an actual plastic Havok kit for the first time ever.

I do wonder how new Possessed would work in the post CHS-world GW wallows in. Possessed, by their very nature, should be mutable and Chaotic. That's going to be hard to do with near-mono-pose models with 0 options.

Just because these seem to be heavily teasing possessed doesn’t mean a new havok box won’t be coming later with a full Chaos release. They may leave it at Obliterators but havoks aren’t ruled out just yet.

I'll be happy as long as they aren't weird cartoony monsters, like the Wulfen, and look better than the plastic Chaos Forsaken kit. You know a kits bad when it's fairly recent and they still discontinue it (despite the fact that they could have easily been another unit in a Slaves of Darkness army.) The one redeeming factor of the Forsaken kit was the nice variety of heads and models that allowed you to make actual good looking models.

You're absolutely right. My concern was more why we're getting new Possessed first when they have a plastic kit already, but we did this in the other thread.

I'd say both are feasible. If they CAD'd a HB, easy enough to tweak the file to a different set of detail.

Well the Tac Squad doesn't have every heavy weapon (all the specials though), so I could see a new Chaos Marine squad mirroring that.

You don't even really need plastic havocs now, you can kitbash Mk III or IV plastic squad with one CSM box to get 15 CSM + 5 Havocs (or 10/10 if you want to have some ablative mooks). Really, "lack" of Havocs had been by far the least problems of CSM range for years now, it's just that loud minority can't find anything else for easy GW bash, so they latched to this one. I wonder how many pictures like this one before they suddenly try to find a new attack angle?

A new multi-purpose Chaos kit, building regular CSM, Havocs and maybe Chosen would be appreciated though.
