well crud.. I only want a subset of trees.. they dont seem to have anything smaller than a "crate"..

How many sets did you want? They (now) have a "Pick and Mix" pledge just for four or more sets. If you only want three sets, mebbe wait for retail?

Down a bit for the day (-$249) but still growing overall it’s slowed right down which is normal mid campaign.

The military set is coming today so that might get things moving again.

Hopefully, since it's pretty good terrain for lots of uses. I'm worried the whole thing will largely stall out though - with all the pre-KS hype a lot of people will have jumped in for the early bird. I'm hoping it doesn't go backwards near the end as there seem to be a lot of people who grabbed an EB and are waiting to see what happens. I'm in that boat: the pick and mix suits me quite well, but there hasn't been much added to the sets I want (abandoned office and campsite), so if the value doesn't fly up by the end I'll drop it and wait for retail. Odds are I won't be paying any more than £18/box anyway.

There's still a lot to unlock though, so hopefully there will be a flurry of it coming soon.

Yeah. Really I just want the campsite set to make a fun little display. Nothing is particularly pulling me in for getting a whole pick n mix (call it £70 with the postage).

I’ll see what else comes, or if anyone wants any bits to make up a full crate.
Not sure just one set is gonna be worth it at £24ish.

I'd be lying if I wasn't in it solely for the fork-lift and laptops at this point.

Looks like the first indication of "fake stretch goals". Since the beds are duplicates of existing pieces, obviously other pieces on the same tool will also be duplicated, but they'll be presented at further stretch goals even though there's no universe in which Mantic can cast extra beds without extras of those pieces.

Either including more models from the same mold or adding more identical beds are added to the mold.

I am perfectly fine getting more hospital beds - but what I need is more pews. (Though... if and when my Fallout game picks back up again... the beds will come in handy.)

The Auld Grump - a moldering hospital bed with a destroyed teddy bear sounds like the start of a good diorama....

Hospital Beds reached! Next SG revealed.

And if it's more stuff, bring on the fake. "Talking of loading, we've realised we're able to squeeze an extra empty pallet into the Abandoned Office set, which will come in handy as extra scatter terrain. The pallets actually fit onto the forks of the fork lift truck so you can create your own imaginary warehouse in the safety of your home."

A free-standing garage door wasn't on my wish list, I have to say. Hoping they add something to the Mausoleum, it looks like the sparsest set and compares poorly with the Church that shares most of the parts.

I could use several of those doors - lately I have been doing more 2.5D than 3D for RPGs - standing doors, obstacles, and furniture, but the walls nothing more than ink on paper. *EDIT* I used to make 3D terrain for major locations... it's amazing how much free time has disappeared since getting married and then becoming a father.

I got some 3D printed windows from a friend, and made them into freestanding windows - and, sure enough, the first time they were on the table, somebody got thrown through them.

Then the PC that threw that somebody jumped through the window himself - the person he threw got up and started running away, rather than coming back....

If/when I run Fallout again, that overhead door will be very handy.

I have leaned that player characters are a lot more inclined to remember that their characters can jump on the furniture if there is furniture for them to jump on. Ditto for using the furniture as cover.

Heck, even remembering to search the desks is more likely, if there are desks on the table for them t search.

The Auld Grump - I'm from New England - one of the desks that they searched had seven secret drawers - that they found....

During a Kickstarter we always read the comments and suggestions about items that people would like to see in the Crates - and we're possible we'll try to make those requests a reality. One essential office item that we overlooked in the Abandoned Office was, of course, a photocopier. After all, you need something so everyone to print off copies of their backside during the Christmas party! As a result, we're pleased to say we'll be adding two photocopiers to the Abandoned Office set. The pictures above are for reference only, by the way.

Yes, but based on the previous terrain crate KS the breakdown of items may not be the same

It's also apparently a single production run. They said they're running out of Terraincrate 1 and won't be making more.

that sounds a bit weird

(unless they went for a cheap soft mould and that's worn out which I guess is a distinct possibility)

Source? I thought that what they had said was that they won't be selling any more of the KS1 crates in the KS1 spec and will instead be selling them in the retail sets from now on.

A few bits for the last 30ish hours

Broken pews is a good call to I was going to cut one up now I won’t have to.

Hamper, sandwiches and drinks added to Crystal Peaks Camp and Pleasant Park (Campbell Heights and Bellevue Square)
Kitchen pots and pans added to Servants' Quarters and Cosy Cottage (Bleakwood Hall and Bellevue Square)
Two broken pews - a great suggestion from one of the backers - added to Morneville Church (Morneville Ruins)
Two smashed up dressers added to Crumbling Cottages (Morneville Ruins)

As someone pointed out in the comments, that whilst some of the stuff is cool, it's not that suited to gaming and readily available as dolls house furniture already (knife blocks, sandwiches, pots and so on).

Since we're talking about about 28mm gaming, some of it sounds too small for any games above about a warband size. Could be great for D&D but that's not for me.

I'm really hoping for an explosion of new stuff in the last 24 hours or I'm waiting until retail.

I'm currently in for the mix n match 4 set, but I'm having a hard time finding stuff that looks useful for fantasy gaming in Hyborian or the Old World settings...

I'll probably just drop down to two sets (trees and market)

I play fantasy, modern and post-apoc skirmishes, so I'm in for the 4 crate pack, but I'll probably skip the victorian town theme. Just can't decide which of the others to double up on. Might have to splurge for an extra set of just trees in any case.

I'm all in - and may buy more Church terrain.

The little incidentals will likely be permanently glued on some of the terrain.

I have a wide and eclectic mix of RPGs that I play, so pretty much everything will see use, at some point.

Not as excited by these as I was for Terrain Crate 1 - but it will be used.

I was expecting this to pick up in the last few hours, but there's nothing and the stretch goals are a bit lukewarm. So I've dropped out and will grab stuff at retail.
So now I can spend £75 on Gundams guilt free

Yeah there's no crazy Mantic finish on this one.

If I am remembering correctly, neither did the first Terrain Crate.

Maybe because both were short, two week, campaigns?

Night before last, I had a dream that the PCs in my Regency Space game were using the shattered statue as cover, while they were being fired on by Redcoats.

As far as I know, I have no plans for the players to be in open rebellion against the Crown in a year's plus time....

That said, maybe I need to buy some Perry Redcoats....
