I would actually start to consider using Primaris Marines if the new vehicle is in fact a speeder than can be made as a light transport.

Even something akin to a Storm they can shoot out of would be a boon and give a reason to use Intercessors in Deathwatch again.

I am hoping for something like a cross between a Land Speeder and a Razorback. A heavy weapons platform that can carry troops. But it better not have a billion weapons like the Repulsor. A speeder would fit the theme of the Vanguard Primaris. Quick and deadly. Though I bet most of the Vanguard have an alternate deployment ability, so a transport might not even be necessary. I just want something of an alternative to the giant and bulky Repulsor.

I think a scout walker type vehicle that mounts some heavy weapons like the Ironstrider would be neat too though.

In a perfect world I'd want a T8 rhino esque transport. Probably with a heavy onslaught gattling cannon. I'd get at least 2 of them.

Eh, I would like it to something like twin bolt rifles that can be upgraded to twin Plasma incinerators. Light weapons, but perhaps one twin weapon in each side like a Rhino can do.

I'm not sure what we'll get as a vehicle, if we get one at all.

A transport would be nice, but what do you want to put in there? Or rather, why? I mean, Reivers aren't close combat monsters. Primaris units overall focus on long-range firepower.

I suppose a faster, less-armed (and cheaper) version of the Repulsor might help but it's gonna be a bullet magnet.

I can't even think of the last time I saw a Rhino.

Mob Rule is not a rule.

Even if Primaris aren't close combat monsters, they still outclass any troop that isn't dedicated close combat. Even then, Primaris still need to get around the board and grab objectives, or at the very least have a suicide squad as a roadblock somewhere.

In the teaser video for shadow spear at the 25-27 second mark in the video when the librarian is being shown, it looks like a new vehicle silhouette blurred behind him.

Whatever that thing is, it is gray like cloaks the Eliminators and the Librarian are wearing.

I think it'll be like a Land Speeder Storm but for Primaris, able to fit 5 of them in it

I personally think we'll get bikes in Shadowspear too, along with whatever light vehicle is included.
For some reason, I just cannot see Primaris ever getting individual bikes. They're just too big. I could see a light speeder with 1-2 Primaris on it, but not bikes. Something in between and Attack bike and a Land speeder, but with Primaris

I would remind you that Dawn Eagles exist.

...which is actually something I do hope Primaris get in a theoretical kind of way. Dawn Eagles without all the filigree and scroll-work would look pretty darn cool.

Equipped flying repulsor for a more repulsive designed by a 2 year old look, as that will sell.

I actually LIKE the repuslor, I dont know why, I get kind of a Bradley vibe to it and I also enjoy the MASSIVE amount of firepower it can dish out, especially with the new bolter rules.

I thought the Repulsor looked kind of goofy until I actually built one. Admittedly I left some of the extra bits off of the sides and the spotlight-thing off of the Heavy Onslaught though. Also, the Stormbolter on the aft mini-turret looks a lot better that the Icarus Heavy Stubber.

Whatever the new vehicle may be, we know that it will have way too many guns on it.

I kinda thought the same about the repulsor but then I figured marines generally are out numbered 2-1 but fire the same amount of shots as the cheaper troops. The repulsor having a ludicrous amount of guns kinda balances this out

This. All the guns are the only saving grace of primaris units.

I'd love a rhino equivalent and a dedicated anti-tank vehicle myself.

Well that tiny black blob on the same cover turned out to be a giant hell spider so... That is a viable basis for the flyer theory! I'll have to have a look at that again.

More than that.

It also has the new Vanguard "troopers" front and center in the art.

Yup, they totally look like vanguards except for exceptionally minor details, such as reiver assault squad marking, compared to vanguard troop one, reiver grenades on chest, which vanguards lack, especially the shock ones that are exclusive to one squad in the entire GW range (no points for guessing which one), reiver skull bottom half of the helmet, which vanguards don't have either, as both masks and helmets they have are very different, reiver bolt carbines, as opposed to vanguard rifles, reiver belly plates, reiver chest emblems with swords as opposed to vanguard bones, reiver style pouches, or you know, shouting guy being 100% reiver head copy-paste, yup, they are totally not just standard reivers and are 999% vanguards despite looking literally nothing like vanguards from Spear art

He is not talking about Vanguard Vets. Thats so obvious, I have to give you two facepalms.

I have to give you three facepalms, Irbis is talking about the Vanguards from the new Shadowspear box, of course he's not talking about vanguard vets.
