I think its one of those "URGH! No wait I love it" kind of models. AT first its a bit of a shock as its really different, but then you compare it to the rest of the range for that army and start to realise that it actually fits into them really really well. I love it also because its taking the idea of futuristic hovertanks that we had post WW2 into the 40K world - sure we never got them to work, but right there is the ideal hover transport and tank evolution.

I *think* I like it. It's a WW2 landing boat IN SPACE.

I think it'd look better without the weird hovercraft/bumper car rounded edges, though. Or dozens of spider legs.

Looks like it's meant to be an actual hovercraft, which is very cool.

I think that, too, but I'm not sure I totally like that.

Looking at the kit I wager you can make it look like a regular "tank" version for transporting very easily by putting the cover over and then not fitting the turret.

-Chaos Knights look great!

-A Repulsor... with more guns. I can't say that it is exactly what I wanted, but I'll take it.

-The Ad Mech tanks, they're absolutely hideous. I have not yet decided whether that is a cool quirky sort of hideous or not. A bold design certainly.

Just noticed. The Skorpius? It’s got rockets in the front. Initially took them for headlights.

I think... think that Skitarii hover tank might be brilliant. At least it is completely different.

Looks like the Chaos Knights codex won't come with Chaos versions of the Armiger and Dominus class knights, but the Questoris Chaos knights will come with plenty of extra spikes and chains to chaosify them.

Yeah, that Skitarii tank makes me want an army of them now. Goddamn it, I just bought a whole army of Primaris Blood Angels. Perhaps allies are in order...

Skitarii tank is almost certainly going to be a love/hate thing.

As others have said, it’s a very bold design. I for one absolutely love it. But I can see why others will hate it.

That tank version reminds me of toys and tv shows from the 80-90s. I could well see a tank like that appearing in something like Defenders of the Earth, X-men animated or such similar animations. I wonder if that might be a big element in the love/hate - GW seems to be on a really heavy nostalgia creative roll in my view.

i just LOVE that skitarii transport. WW2 in SPACE.

Beautifull, really. I mean, is ugly but, it is what it needs to be. I love it.

And those demons they look AMAZING. I don't know what the hell they are gonna be but just to proxy as Demon Princes, they are marvelous.

Love the Admech landing craft. Not too upgunned (maybe 4 heavy stubbers?), might have the Fly keyword and maybe even open topped (though those sides are so tall I can see them not being open topped). Basically ideal. Also nice to see a hovertank for Admech too, and since it's dual kit there will be leftover turrets and guns for conversions.

But did anyone want a Primaris Razorback?

And contrast paints...GW seems to imply you'd want to use their 'contrast primer', which looks like it's just white primer. Have they mentioned what's special about it?

So it looks like the turret is Phosphor Blasters while the sides are Cognis Heavy Stubbers.
Scratch that. No clue what's going on with the turret mount!

I'm anxious for it though. Hopefully we get a Skitarii HQ soon too...

But did anyone want a Primaris Razorback?

It's a new loadout for the Repulsor, and I'm okay with anything getting us more Laser Destroyers damnit!

No, just that there's two new colors. Might sound silly, but since Corax White is an 'off' white and Mechanicus Standard Grey is just plain ol' grey? It might be that these colors are meant to be more neutral for the contrasts?

IMO, the hover tank looks to have 4 heavy stubbers, a transport capacity of 10 and open-topped. This could work, I'm guessing it's T6 10W and a 3+ save so it should be pretty cheap. This is the type of transport that I personally hoped for when it came to admech, assuming I'm at least somewhat correct in my guessing.

The disintegrator tank however, that one I'm real curious about. I'm guessing it's T7 since it's hard topped (and probably 11-12 wounds). Any guesses as to its armaments?

The primer for contrast might have a bit of gloss to it so it shines through?

So that's 4 of the 6 40k videos down in one fell swoop.

Wonder what the other 2 will be?

Good to see that the Chaos Knight keeps the Forgeworld-style design of the chainsword which makes it almost impossible for the knight to actually use - the big spike on the end blocks the chain blades from being able to contact the target.

You are right, I also spotted spikey bits from the CSM Rhino/Predator kit in the reveal video, bit silly to tbh, they could have at released at least a new upgrade sprue
- I guess we can`t have everything.

LOVE the Admech tank - great retro sci-fi look!

The Repulsor variant though.... not a big fan of the regular one, too many guns just stuck on there. This one still suffers from the same problem.

The new repulsor doesn’t look like it has more guns then the old one, just bigger ones.

They removed the guns over the side doors (but left the one over the back) and added 2 rear mounts to the turret.

Looks as if it can the same number of random launchers and such tacked onto the turret. Flavors changed. Krackstorms look the same, circular mounts for icarus missiles? and box of fragstorms (or the useless defensive ones)

Back mini mount looks to be duel guns.

Unless is gets some special magic rules to make it more robust, I don’t really see a need for it. And I don’t see anything visible on the model to suggest increased armor/toughness/invuln. The old repulsor was already overgunned, and had a nice mix of wither AV or anti-horde firepower. This is just going to let you do the same things with some slightly different kinds of dice to roll, while paying more points and (guessing) loosing half your cargo.

All that said, it’s not a bad looking kit. If you like the original repulsor (as I do) If you didn’t like the first one, this one is cut from the same cloth. It does open up some more weapon options to the restricted primaris line, which isn’t horrible.

I just don’t see it bringing enough new to the table to justify dropping the cash on it. I would have preferred to see a undergunned repulsor that could serve as a more economical transport then an overgunned tank that does the same thing as the last, just with flashier guns.

Edit:
Just noticed that on the pic with the plasma cannon, it does NOT have the random box launchers glued to the turret. If you don’t need to pay for all the little short range things, it could help to make it more economical as a firebase unit.
