£75 if you live in the UK, £125 if you live in NZ. Last time I checked, Asia was closer to NZ than the UK is, so it can’t be due to shipping.

How can anyone justify the pricing GW imposes on us?

I really don't get the complaints about the pricing, this price isn't unusual. I can understand that the cost might be too much for someone (It is for me), but £75 is a typical price for these Bandai figures, and it actually seem to be a bit more on the cheaper side compared to some of their other figures. This isn't a case of GW overpricing something (at least, it doesn't seem to be their decision) - this is just the price range for Bandai's Figuarts stuff, they're high quality display pieces for collectors.

There's no cost feasible way to do that. A good customizer charges ~$200-300 USD for a figure of this style. Now consider they'd be doing this on an industrial scale, programming in those additional options to the paint machines, having to keep track of how many of each possible colorways for each order, etc. People are complaining about paying $100, you really think they'd be ok with paying double or triple that just to get a few more color options?

After seeing what my friends have spent on Hot Toys figures in the past, this seems pretty damn reasonable.

I got one, obviously it will be mostly for display but I will use it in a game against friends at least once just for fun as it seems about as tall as a Knight. Thinking Knight ally with Marines, rapid fire battle cannon roughly the same as a bolt rifle scaled up, and the knight chainsword for his load out.

I purchased one but I really think this should have been released in model form so someone can build them whatever way they want. Hopefully this will be released in a cheaper kit form one day.

Is this day 268 until delivery or does the 270 days only start from the 2nd of November? In which case it’s only 296 short days until delivery!! What fun waiting on the delivery man... the anticipation is killing me!
I wonder will Brexit be over by then? Or will we have new trade deals with China? Maybe the price will come down due to new trade tariffs. Who knows, what fun ordering stuff 300 days away. I wish I could do this everyday

That’s pretty good for the number of units. I wasn’t expecting them to go so quickly. Hopefully that means we may see some other characters now, Eldar or inquisitors would be great. I might even wait a year on an Eisenhorn or Jain Zar! Something a little more interesting than a smurf anyway.

Honestly, they'll probably milk this mold with different Chapter colors and accessories(ie. the other two types of boltrifles and the various Plasma Incinerators) before we get something non-Marine. Bandai's already produced something like 15 Gokus for the DBZ Figuarts line because they needed to do a slightly different shade of hair or skin tone to reproduce that one animation cel in that single episode.

So, we may see a Chaos Marine in 2022 and something non-Power Armor by 2030.

They did say that "select" hobby stores would get some, so we'll have to see how that works out.

So far, but given Bandai now have the tool, and a bunch of their other stuff has got different versions differing only in colour (eg Goku) if this does well (and that seem to have happened with GW selling out) we might see a version done as a different chapter in the future

I think I heard this company was… a bit gakky.

The Combat Knife was shown with the prototype at the Japanese conventions it was showed at and is mentioned in the product description on GW's site.

He’s armed with a holy bolt rifle and vicious combat blade, including swappable, alternate open hands.

Play Asia has the chibis up for preorder £18.05 + shipping for 5 random figures, £4.10 + shipping for a random single (ship date 30th Nov)

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Note that they've seemed expensive compared to normal Japanese 'shop' prices recently so you may be able to find them cheaper if you can navigate Japanese websites, but it at least gives a baseline on pricing to work from

Don't think the larger pack is "the" pack of 5, rather a 5-pack of random figures. Which could be all 5 variants, if you're lucky...

Got me excited there for a moment (not keen on random packs)! Wonder what prices unpacked ones will go for on ebay.

EDIT: Also, as discussed earlier, the group pic does not match the 5 figures in the description; but the latter are here shown as painted versions (first time I've seen those). Primaris and Grey Knight instead of Inquisitor and Beaky.
Also also, the painted Sister looks pretty darn cute.
