Here is one of my latest works. The New Dark Angels Space Marine Chapter Master Lazarus. I completed him last week and placed him up for sale on eBay auction last Friday February 7, 2020.

I like this model. It is less of a puzzle piece miniature than many other recent Primaris character models. It also has several options to make it different. 3 head options , the option to have either a power sword or power fist and to either carry his helmet or a weapon in the other arm. It does not have pre-sculpted base like many other recent character models it only comes with a flat standard base. This give you the opportunity to make a unique base for this model. Which I did. I made a base to look like he is standing on a low dirt rise with a skull and grass. A basic base for Lazarus this time. I pinned him to the base and clear coated him with Testors Dull coat spray and used Vallejo brush on gloss for the metal areas to bring the shine back up.

Hello All,

Here is another recent work I completed last week and placed up for sale on eBay auction on February 7, 2020.

It is a model from the Warhammer boxed game "Combat Arena." This game is sold exclusively at Barnes and Noble. It is a very detailed snap together model. I did glue it though. It is the character "Daedalosus." He is a Technoarchelogist for the Adeptus Mechanicus.

I made his base look like Martian ground. He is pinned to the base. Otherwise the model comes with a slotta base. I removed the slotta tab on his feet. Not a fan of those. He is clear coated with Testors Dull Spray and the metal parts that are supposed to be shiny have a brush on gloss coat.

I don't always paint 40K stuff. There are some commission works for other kinds of models. Here are some models from "otherworld Miniatures" that a customer sent to have painted up. All models are painted and based as requested.

These models are very old school D&D style models. I personally love them. They take me way back. There are the "Myconids" or mushroom men, a "Psionic Slayer" or Mind flayer to D&D'ers. A couple of Goblin Chieftains, a Goblin Shaman and some basic Goblin warriors. On the Goblin archers I added the bow strings using a very fine metal wire. I do not like having bows with no bowstrings.

"Otherworld Miniatures" has a ton of these old school D&D style models. Most look a lot like the old D&D Monster Manual illustrations from the 70's and 80's. I guess that is why I really enjoyed working on them.

I have painted all three versions of this model over the years. My favorite is still the original version but this plastic version comes in second before the last metal version. It is nice to have the back banner already sculpted to paint instead of having to free-hand it like in the last version. The original had a "sticker" style banner so there was little to no painting involved with it. This model is still a bit of a puzzle piece model but not as much as some previous primaris character models. It comes with a pre-sculpted base which is ok.

Here is one of my latest works. Actually, I just completed it today. A Black Templars Primaris Space Marines Chaplain. This is the first Primaris Chaplain I have had a chance to work on. So far of the Primaris Space Models I have worked on, I like this one the best. Much less of a puzzle piece model than the rest. I like that the legs are a single piece that fits right up in the trench coat of the main body. No gluing a leg to one side of a robe and then gluing the other half leg to the other side of the robe and hoping the splits on the robes fit. The one spot on the trench coat that has a split that is to be glued together is a smoother spot which was easy to clean up and make nice and smooth. The only thing I am not really a fan of is the Crozius. On this model it is just a spiked skull. And not even big spikes. I liked the older Crozius Arcanums. Stylized Aquilas, that is what should be on a Chaplain's weapon of choice. I also wish there was a choice of heads. The cowled skull helmet is on this model is cool looking but having a full skull helmet is cooler. In my opinion. I did use an older plastic Black Templars shoulder pad I had.

Here is another of my latest works. I completed it last week. A converted Primaris Salamanders Space Marines Captain. Using the Primaris Captain model with parts form the Salamanders upgrade kit. A few minor modifications to make sure parts fit and flames face the same direction as the cape and there we go. I placed it up for sale on eBay auction Friday February 28, 2020.

Here is another of my latest works. A Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Legion Operative Expansion "Darth Vader." I really like how easy FFG made these models to assemble. You really don't even really need glue on them. This Darth Vader comes from the a Operative Expansion box. It is a different sculpt from the Vader in the box games set. Here he is about to take a swing with his light saber.

Here is a recent work of mine. I painted this Dark Angels Primaris Space Marine Apothecary up last week and placed it up for sale on eBay auction. It sold in 8 minutes on a buy-it-now. I was quite shocked but pleased.

It is a very detailed model to work on. I like that there are a couple of options for the apothecary backpack armatures and his selected hand weapon. I did not go with the all white but with a bit of white here and there. I saw someone make a point somewhere that on the battlefield an all white Space marine amongst a bunch of regular chapter color marines would stand out and make an excellent target for enemies. I know this is a game but it is a good point. And it is easier to paint the green than the white.

Here is my latest work. A Drukhari Archon. Or as we knew them, a Dark Eldar Archon. A fairly straightforward model of the previous generation. Meaning not a puzzle piece model doing gymnastics on an elaborate base.

I painted it in generic Dark Eldar colors so that it could possibly be used in any Kabal if wished.

Here is one of my latest works.

A Dark Angels Primaris Space Marines Chaplain. This model is lightly converted. I changed out the head of the Crozius Arcanum with an older plastic Dark Angels icon. I placed the skull from the top of the Arcanum on top of the backpack just to make it different. I slightly modified the right arm so that it looks like the Chaplain is aiming at a target. Small changes to make it a little bit different from other chaplain models.

Hello All,

Here are more of my latest works. From the Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Legion Imperial Specialist Personnel Expansion. An Imperial Officer, Imperial Comms Technician, R4 Astromech Droid and a FX-9 Medical Droid.

I like how easy these models are to assemble but I do wish that the faces of the Imperials had a little more detail. Overall I liked working on these models. I completed this set last Saturday and put them up for sale on eBay 5 day auction the same evening March 22, 2020.

Another model I completed last week. A Magnetized Star Wars Legion Clone Wars Clone Captain Rex. This model comes with three head options. I magnetized all three heads and torso with rare earth magnets to make all options useful and interchangeable. These include a Captain Rex head, a Phase One Clone helmet and a Phase Two Clone helmet. I tried to paint Captain Rex as close as I could to the illustrations I found of him. Adding hash marks on his armor and light wear and tear to the armor.
