Not sure on that. Mitchtoy = Michigan Toy Solder Company. They carry just about anything you can think of for military molders. Not much from our neck of the woods model wise though but have been branching out a lot over the past year or two. Mostly Historicals though.

IIRC TTC has had to remake the molds for several of the DZC products, and Valks is on the list (not ownership issues, mold degradation). COVID put the brakes on that so it’s still a work in progress.

The main importer was EFigures, but Golden Distribution also does orders through them, it was just getting stockists to make the jump.

For some reason I remember hearing that Game Kastle used Golden, but I’m not sure where I heard that.

I was wondering about Frontline, they seem to have some good discounts on certain items but I don't see them mentioned in this thread

Games Workshop: Ruining Chaos Space Marines since 2007

First they raised prices on the Eldar, and I did not speak out because I did not play Eldar.

Then, they raised prices on the Orks, and I did not speak out because I did not play Orks.

Then, they raised prices on the Nids, and I did not speak out because I did not play Nids.

Then, they raised prices on the Marines, and there was nobody to speak out for me.

They have their own thread in News and Rumors for their sales and their own items. Plenty of people here, myself included, have bought from them. They're pretty much GW only though so maybe that's why people haven't mentioned them.

NWS pulls the same crap.

I specifically emailed asking about stock status before I ordered. Was told everything was in stock and would ship. Sure enough, half the items were in fact NOT in stock, and the whole order took nearly 3 weeks from time placed to arrival.

I pretty much only trust miniature market these days when it comes to actually being in stock as listed on the website. And even they play inventory games and take forever to ship.

Welp my assessment of Chaos Orc has dropped. Out of 3 orders 2 had mistakes.

First was getting Nurgle Terminators instead of Cultists of the Abyss (an error in my favor) now getting 2 Enforcer Subjugator Squads instead of one Subjugater and one Patrol. Even in terms of money, but still not what I ordered.

I think I had one mistake in one order from Chaosorc like 12 years ago. It had been a long time since I ordered from them, but I've had no issues with my last 4 orders.

I learned my lesson when I ordered some historicals for an upcoming game and they took a month.

I still order from NWS, but I treat him as fire and forget to check for 3 weeks rather than keeping up on it

I collect:

Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

I always laugh when people talk about Michigan Toy Soldier Company. I had their account when the Peter Jackson affair happened. I had to grind my teeth cause I stopped getting payments from them lol.

Always makes me sad about Neal. I literally had gotten an email from him a week or so before he died.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

I googled it - apparently the owner of the Michigan Toy Soldier Company was short of money and after Peter Jackson bought some stuff from there; the owner used the credit card details to run up several $100,000 worth of debt. It reads that he'd paid a good half or more back (the news articles were from the time so it might be all repaid now etc....); it sounds like he had issues and a cashflow shortage and was hoping to use the card to cover it in the short-term and hoped to get away with it. He didn't.

I would not trust them anymore. Just a few weeks ago, I placed an order on their website, the next day it was cancelled and refunded with no word from them. I sent them an email via their contact form, and never got any reply. I made a thread about it, a few other folks here had similar experiences.

My beef with NWS is they are liars. If they were upfront and said "look, we don't carry stock and only order when you buy it" I could respect that. But they don't.

thats scummy as hell and a big red flag for further orders.

Miniature market has free shipping on order of 100$ and a general 15% discount on gougers workshop stuff so i recommend it. I ordered my necron spearhead box from them, came PDQ and in grade A condition.

Hi all,

I was asked to respond to this thread by one of my customers so I hope that is ok.

Apologies if somewhere along the lines over the past few years that there was any dismay with ordering through my store. Note, my operations underwent a massive overhaul and new webstore was setup back in 2019. ALL items have stock tags now and are explained in detail on the information page. The old store was simply not able to keep up with by back end operations and had to go away. I also post operations news on my store about 2-4 times a month and setup a new "help desk" to improve communications through my store system. I can also be asked questions on my FB page and by email as a backup.

The new webstore can be seen here; www.nwswargamingstore.net

Over the past several months the craziness caused by the COVID did disrupt the wargaming industry quite a bit.. especially the lock downs and the UK production of miniatures being disrupted. For the most part the market in general is starting to settle down again although some UK publishers are understaffed and working hard on getting back up to speed again.

If there are any questions please let me know and I will do my best to answer what I can.

Thanks friends.
