I am trying to find a good place to get just the front hull pieces for chimeras/basilisks. I have conversion kits for different back area's and wheeled conversions, but I still need hulls, and I really don't want to spend $40 for a chimera kit just for the 2-3 pieces that I need. Every bits shop I've looked at online is either out-of-stock, or doesn't even list chimera parts and ebay doesn't seem to have any either. Does anyone know a good source for some?

how about some really crappy modelling / paint jobs on ebay rather than just the bits on their own?

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

I'm concerned about being about to get already built ones apart without causing damage. I tried doing that with one of my unused ones and it didn't go so well

easiest way is to use a very sharp hobby saw. always err on the too large side rather than the other.

Salted Diamond,

Post a Wanted Thread in the Swap Shop.

If you are willing to buy assembled, note you are looking for ones put together with Super Glue. Those you can take apart easily without damage after freezing them in your freezer.

Hope that helps,

CB

That's exactly why I use superglue when assembling. The freezer trick has save me multiple times.

I'm accepting that buying assembled is prob my only option. Just still worried about getting them apart. My extra one sat in the freezer for a week and still refused to come apart without damage
