Holy gak it's Wall-E

I was thinking Johnny 5, from Short Circuit, but WALL-E also works.

Clearly the compromise is to call it the Johnn-E5. That avoids the various trademark infringement concerns.

I was wondering how Ariadna would do their little drone and now I feel like a fool for not getting it right.

Love the little grabber and binocular eyes.

I am finding these remotes far more interesting than the tags we've seen so far.

Fully agree. Remotes look cool but the TAGs are in ''who cares'' camp.

Maybe because they really pale in comparison to the 'real' TAGs in the game?

At least I think that's what my issue is with them...

Agreed, all the remotes look really cute.

I'd definitely buy into a remotes only pledge.

I have lots of friends asking to buy armies of the remotes.

Genuinely feels like they missed the mark and a game of chibi-remotes collecting stuff on the map would've generated more interest?

The Caskuda mini makes a decent avatar proxy these days.

Yeah, the remotes are more appealing than the mining TAGs.

It's impressive in how out of sync with the rest of the settng this game seems? Dawn has sandworms and monster hunter-tier dragons now?

Dragon looks great. I guess it is made in new plastic?

I like the look of the Dragon and heavy infantry...much more so than any of the TAGs unfortunately. Despite knowing Stein in German means stone, I was half expecting the creature to be an alcoholic.

Also, there's been giant alien beasts in the background since the beginning. Dawn has the antipodes and other big nasties, Morat Raichos hunt Demoraks as their initiations. A giant dragon-ish looking alien is right in line with that.

I like the big monsters and the little remotes are cool, but I'm just not getting an attachment to the game itself. Aristeia! is a cool concept - WWF in space. This ... is if Rio Tinto, De Beers and the Coal Board have JCB fights in the car park on Friday afternoons. The minis are nice, but it doesn't do it for me.

If the next game's a Wipeout-style racer, I'd be up for that.
