I do wonder about the scale though. LOTR is a little big smaller than 40k/AoS.
If they scale like the Ruins of Osgiliath they'll be fine for AoS and there's nothing very scale defining on them even the skulls are separate so just swap or mix them with the AoS skulls. Laketown and Rohan houses on the other hand yeah they don't scale well. I've ordered 3 so I'll take my chances
Zorpazorp got the 12 of the kits - I don't think 3 is going to be enough now!

Yeah? I used to shop at Dark Sphere but they don't ship outside the UK post brexit. If you can you point me towards an alternative 25%-discounter I would be most grateful! I've found that many stores don't carry as much LOTR stuff as they do 40k/AoS.

And be sure to post pics of those boards!
Well I am used to buy stuff in 2 Well known Italian eshop called Ars Manufactorea and Maremma Wargames. But I don't know if they ship outside Italy. And please consider that Italian prices are usually higher than English ones...

That's the Zorpazorp one in the video above he got 12 kits initially and then asked for more floor tiles so there's a lot more than 5 kits in the finished piece - there's 2 layers so some of the kits are hidden under the removeable floor,

I was quite keen on the set, but it feels so pricy for how much you get. Only a single staircase a box hurts all my ideas.
So I not sure if I want to commit or not even with a discount.

With 3d printing these days there are so many options outside foGW for appropriate scenery too.
The galaxy is littered with the single-planet graveyards of civilisations which made the economically sensible decision not to explore space.
Wow. Those White Council sculpts are appalling. Not a good face among them.
Will be picking up Kardûsh and the Ringwraiths though. Always confused me as to why they only made 3 twilight wraiths rather then the 5 that were at Weathertop.
Have to disagree about the council. I have them already and they're probably the most standout models of the characters made. Gandalf and Saurman in particular.
I'll probably get Kardush and the TwiWraiths, maybe the White Council just because the models are gorgeous.
My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

I gotta ask. What do people like about the White Council minis? What's the attraction?
I understand the the paintjobs aren't doing the models themselves any favours, but for me at least, Gandalf's the only decent looking one. Elrond with his club fist looks like Harry Goatleaf in elves clothes. Saruman (who also has a messed up hand) has just smelt the nasty fart ever. And Galadriel appears to have just been rejected from an ABBA casting call.
None of them actually look like who they're supposed to be. Like the faces are just wrong.

Also Saruman has a strange cut in the Head / Beard because the Head is seperate and has the cut trough he Beard.

They're just exceptionally nice models in hand. Elrond is the weakest sculpt, but you really need to judge them unpainted and in hand to get a full view of how good they are.
I’ll probably skip the White Council and wait for Vanquishers to eventually hit MTO, so I think only the Twraiths as I was too broke last time they went up. Got Kurdash last time round, and I doubt Thranduil without a second sword would ever hit the table as the upgrade is too good.

Vanquishers is available now as part of the permanent line (was added a few weeks back).
