Yes, I have seen them quite well, considering I've bought, build and painted almost all of them. Ork hands are still larger than that and, more importantly, have claws. The picture is 100% not an ork hand.

well it came from BOLS so it'd not suprise me if it was wrong but I figured it was worth linking. that said keep in mind that a LOT of these early sketches are being revisted for Primaris Marines, case in point the old goodwin MK VIII armor sketch clearly was used as a point of inspiration for MK X armor.

I'm going to be more than a little annoyed that Ragnar is held hostage inside such a box as BotP. I don't want nor need the Ork half and don't want an over bloated price tag placed on it.

Was excited, not much less so as this is going to probably cost an arm and a leg and your other leg.

I get they've done this before but was really hoping for the character on his own. Ya know, like other marines got.

If the contents are right you'll easily recoup some loss via resale of the other half.

If that's the case you can always wait until he's released separately.

What is the Image, it won't load or forward to where its hosted.

There is also the Big Mek with KFF (without MA) entry in CA2019, which haven't got a model. Might account for the unidentified boot rumor engine pic, and may have a place together with Ghaz.

You live in small town with less than handful players and no post office? Only way that's really issue. Buy it, sell what you don't need, get what you want cheaper than you would pay individually.

There's a chance you might get Ragnar from a bits seller for cheaper than his individual price once he's released individually, considering the over bloated price tag will not be unique to the battle box. There's certainly people who had that experience with the Eldar characters. Something to keep in mind.

But yeah, it's not great losing GW's release lottery.

And funny how much complaining about discount box. Guess people want no discounts and pay more? Guess GW should just up the prices rather than give cheaper ways to get models since people clearly want to pay more rather than less.

You can probably get it cheaper than retail even before release. I definitely didn't pay retail for Drazhar off eBay and I got him a couple months ago.

I’m wondering if we’ll just get the box set previews tomorrow or we will get the rest of the GAMA previews as well (if this even counts as one) since GAMA is underway this whole week (including today). Which may even mean we get the box contents revealed slowly over the course of the whole week.

Edit: I guess I misread earlier, GAMA starts tomorrow and goes through Thursday.

Oops, I phrased that poorly. That's what I mean. It's entirely possible to get Ragnar (or Ghazghkull) long before their individual release and still pay less than you would when they get that individual release. Mostly because bits sellers base their offers on current prices and GW keeps upping their prices with new releases.

It's a mixed bag. Availability is an issue, but before the official individual price is known you might actually get a better price on the model.

You could be right about the chainsword Phobos Marines. Although releasing a new unit right after everyone bar DW has been brought up to speed on the Vanguard stuff seems odd. I guess GW just cant help themselves

Hmm, yeah not really liking that new sobriquet. Especially since the SW have Allfather in their vernacular.

Looks like Ghazghkull is getting a weapon upgrade to go with his new suit, probably just 2xTwin Big Shootas, but I kinda hope it has some AP on it

On the facebook page there is a Ragnar vs Ghaz fight poster. Ragnar is the Allslayer, Ghaz is the Prophet of Gork and Mork.
