Are the 1s on the scale chart your historical scale minis, including plastic Byzantine spearmen? So, these will be historically scaled rather than scaled to match your new fantasy line?

All our new products will be in the same scale of Forgotten World. The height is the same between older and new models, 28mm from feet to eyes, but arms/body proportions are different
Pledged, immediately. I absolutely love my Forgotten World minis. They painted up beautifully.
"...and special thanks to Judgedoug!" - Alessio Cavatore "Now you've gone too far Doug! ... Too far... " - Rick Priestley "I've decided that I'd rather not have you as a member of TMP." - Editor, The Miniatures Page "I'd rather put my testicles through a mangle than spend any time gaming with you." - Richard, TooFatLardies "We need a Doug Craig in every store." - Warlord Games "Thank you for being here, Judge Doug!" - Adam Troke

You'll probably catch a lot of gak for the change from historicals folks, but having bought some of your excellent Forgotten World zombies and peasants personally I'm very pleased to hear this.
I only wish I had a use for Byzantines so I could show my support with actual cash. Hopefully this campaign is a success for you and you can go on to produce many more ranges(Landsknechts, Imperial Chinese, Crusaders & other knights, or Conquistadors would be most welcome).
"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Just to clarify, will these new historical be as "thick" as the Forgotten world miniatures, or will they be more in line with your previous historical miniatures?

When you say "the same scale", do you mean the same height or in the same proportions?

I am by no means an historical enthusiast (don't get me wrong, I like historical games, but there's only so many hours in the day), but these might get backed.
I love Byzantine history - especially Bellisarius's invasions of north Africa and Italy and the battles with the Sassanid Empire, and the Deme Riots, and... Yeah, OK, I just love Justinian. I could so see these getting some table time in historical or pseudohistorical skirmishing...

I mean both, height and proportions
So the new byzantine miniatures will be a different scale compared to the old byzantine miniatures? That's unfortunate.

as you can see from the comparative photo, the old miniatures will not be bad with the models in the new scale at all
Another step to the campaign successful funding! Varangians, Cataphracts, Harald and byzantine shields will be immediately available once unlocked the campaign funding goal
