The new Howling Banshees are listed on the GW website for $55 USD. They cost $90 AUS.
The conversion rate is 0.58 USD to 1 AUD. Converted back to US dollaroos, that's $52.20.
You can now buy Games Workshop kits in Australia for less than in the US. Congrats!

But the same Banshees cost £32.50 in the UK and AUS$90 when the conversion is closer to AUS$65, so it's not all good news. The US$ price for Banshees Vs UK translates to closer to US$40, rather than 55.

Tell me again why your still hanging around with them?
Then again we weren't much better considering " gemeinsame herrschaften"existed.
Otoh we never really got in that whole surpressing buissness aswell, we just kinda did Run it as a feudal System as intended . With less bully and more ignore.
Poor Aargau. Otoh the big Kantons were mostly at each others throat anyways so having atleast the subjects solve their Admin alone was beneficial
Also the price of banshees or the primaris snipers is just absurd anyways.

Except switzerland, we got other things to do , like grumbling at you from the sidelines and complaining about the lacking democratic legitimacy of the constituents
Also in switzerland we shorten the official name of the "United kingdom of greatbritain and Northern ireland" to just great britain. Deal with it we also weren't asked if we wanted to name ourselfs after ONE Kanton which was quite polarising in the history of us

We were still just the Kingdom of Great Britain when we started sending our convicts to Australia in 1783. We didn't become the United Kingdom until 1801*. Using North America as a dumping ground for convicts had already ended before we started sending them to Australia, of course, because American independence was the reason we started shipping them to Australia.
* (We even changed the flag, and not for the better IMHO.)

Actually, to bring it back on topic and since I've never thought to look: GW prices consistent across the Eurozone nations, right? Are they relatively close in the non-Eurozone and non- EU European countries?

Well let's see :
Germany Banshees: 42.50 Euro as is the rest of the EU.
Switzerland Banshees: 53 CHF as off today that would be 50.25 Euro. for non eurozone.
Canadian Banshees: 65 dollar Can which is 42.59 Euro. funnily.
Aussie 90 Dollar upside down. 49.64 Euro. (Which is a lot closer torwards swiss standards)

Personnally i made the maths, For myself a 3D printer would be worth it at the market price, which is incidentally why i am in search of one and teaching myself some skills.
Also no hard feelings because R&H are OOP and the new soon tm traitor guard whilest nice don't really tingle my itch for a formation.

So now I have to decide between buying a plane ticket to London for a shopping spree or taking my chances with Canadian stores having inventory.
If the price of oil went up a couple dollars, this would be a no brainer.

I buy quite a bit of hobby/gaming stuff from the UK. Your subsidized international shipping and poor pound makes it very attractive, at least recently. Our domestic shipping went up (granted it was necessary) sometime last year, so any company anywhere in the world with a decent exchange rate and free or subsidized shipping is obviously attractive.

Honestly, GW should seriously adapt their pricing, it's neither excactly great for the environment nor should you have to buy the stuff in the UK and then deliver it to you.
Like, why is that even necessary from a custommmer perspective.

The Banshees are too expensive a purchase, full stop. At that price you might as well get Wraithblades or go the extra mile for the Start Collecting Craftworlds set.
Love the models but would much rather convert some Drukhari Wyches or Witch Elves instead.

It's a given that import taxes affect the price of GW products in the UK and overseas. To some extent, everyone in the UK should be thanked for helping keep our prices lower than they would be otherwise.
Australia has always been the really rough one, I don't know how anyone can afford to play there. Right now, it just happens to be cheaper than in the US based on the value of the currencies.
