Oh great now I'm trying to remember what I got off the KS. I bet it was good, whatever it was.

you should still be able to access the pledge manager to check your order
you wouldn't be able to change anything but you would not what excatly you put in there

Mine has what I ordered (core set plus an extra faction) but not specifically which one. I have no idea, I think it was Plague and Forge Fathers haha

Scale wise.. I think a lot of the comments are maybe from people new to gaming at that scale? Epic and other small scale wargames are generally all over the place. Even 28mm scale often is, the long-running joke of how 10 marines would fit in a Rhino etc.

But why not make it look correct, when it's just a few mm up or down? It's the one scale where it really costs nothing to do it right.

Maybe you didn't lock it in?

Mine says

Lieutenant Pledge - ( Factions - Enforcers, Enforcers, Enforcers, Veer-Myn, Veer-Myn, Nameless, Marauders, Forge Fathers, Languages - English, English, English, English)

they have said it before, they wanted a certain number of vehicles per frame and therefore the size being adjusted to fit the space

though I don't know any game that has their vehicles perfectly in scale with the infantry

If you saw a photo of a Mk1 Mini Cooper next to a BMW Mini Cooper, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the Mk1 was way too small and 4 normal sized humans couldn't possibly fit in it.

As we don't have the specs for a life sized Enforcer Tank we just have to assume that it can indeed fit whatever it needs to fit to fulfill its battlefield role.

Reminds me of this picture

but yes, we neither know the size the tanks are supposed to be nor the actual model size (as the ones in the promo pics are pre-production models)
just that everything with an STL can be made as big as people want and as the rules are written with bases for vehicles in mind, it doesn't really matter if people use different sized tanks

100% agreed Kodos, great find on the image too!

I pulled that comparison out of my backside, genuinely pleased there is an actual photo! Also - JFC that is insane.

"Love, have you seen my Mini Cooper?" "yes, it's in the Mini Countryman"

Midway through July now folks, starting to get a bit giddy now that we have a very clear and robust plan from Mantic.

Downloaded the rules. They look pretty good.

I'd be tempted to try them out if they didn't use stupid special dice. Anyone know the distribution of sides for the Command Dice? Maybe MonPoc dice would work?

The KS didn't have a stand alone two player starter the closest was the Lieutenant Pledge where you picked two army boxes and included rules and dice so I am curious what the upcoming official starter set includes.

Looks like exactly that (with Plague and Enforcers) minus the free terrain sprues.

Went back and looked at the KS page and Lt pledge is indeed exactly the same items, sans the terrain as you say. Of course if you did the KS you could pick the factions instead of being only Enforcers and Plague, which is nice. It was hiding in plain sight all this time. Or they said it and I didn't notice, either is likely.

If they are the same as firefight dice ce …

8 black/2 orange/1 green in pack

Black = 2 blank: 3 single swords: 1 double sword

Orange = 1 blank: 3 single swords: 2 double swords

Green = 2 single swords: 3 double: 1 triple

Yes, I believe all the command dice have the same facings but they've done a few different color variants since they first appeared in Deadzone.

they are all the same, just the SciFi ones have a different colour to the fantasy ones
Black,Orange,Green for SciFi, Red, White, Blue for Fantasy (and yellow, orange, red for the hellboy dice)

and to use regular D6

Christ I would use D3-1 for the first two and D3 for blues.

and another update!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/manticgames/warpath-the-game-of-epic-scale-sci-fi-warfare/posts/4436791

* Plague and Nameless Sprues shown. Some fun gribbles on the latter.

* some FF sprues are not up to standard, being returned, recycled, and recast (no delays expected to fulfillment)

* Faction packs being boxed up ahead of full packing

very happy with how this is all rolling along.

Yeah those are looking great. I’m glad to hear that the Forgefathers won’t be delayed… I’m surprised the frames made it to Mantic with a missing piece.
