They should have gone with Reternal instead as it's more self aware. And, no, I've never played any Metal Gear game ever.

I had to check on google (please do not hate me ) what a Metal Gear is but yeah, Reternal would be better

Just in case, the Metal Gear series of games had one subtitled Revengeance and I thought that might translate well here. And I was serious about never playing any of them as it just wasn't my preference (though I was aware of the title obviously).

I know, right! I mean that's a sure fire route to success on the tabletop! And we all know movie tie in videogames are always GOTY contenders too. It's win, win for all involved.

Generally speaking, I like his games and he's a heck of a nice guy too!
I will also like to give it a look but first they need to show something more than his videos talking about the rules. At this point there should be some renders for 2-3 factions. And yes, he seems to be a nice guy but Chris from Modiphius is a nice guy too, and yet I am still waiting for my KS from the Mutant Chronicles: Siege of the Citadel to be delivered, which was funded November 2016. What I know for sure is that I will never back anything on KS so Res Nova better be quick with the retail for this new Warzone.

Modiphus has been sending regular emails since the Kickstarter finished letting people know what was going on, and if you did split shipping then you should already have the base game in hand...
Also if you read the last email Dark Legion pledges started delivering in Asia (and I think UK) last month, with the rest going through customs.

I know, I read every comment/update/email etc. This KS was a total mess (it is I who made a big list of errors after each file they released, and they still managed to not correct them all, despite having years to do this), and is a proof that when the IP is handled poorly it will fail again, and being a nice guy will not change it.

Isn't it Cabinet? That an odd one as who owns and runs the holding company as it has really crazy history over the past 20 years. Currently it's one of the founders (who I believe took it private) and, at least from the Conan side of things, people say he's pretty good to work with.

Summary:
Rules are being heavly playtested to assure the balance (5th round of the playtest currently). They want to be sure that the rules are proof for the multiple waves of minis releases so there is no need to constantly update them. KS will be no sooner than a late fall of the year. They will not start it untill they have ready = playtested properly rules and sculpted models for the 1st waves so there are no surprises (like costs etc.) for them because they did not think about something during KS. There will not be an ''endless'' list of goals during KS to not overwhelm both them and the retailers. In short starting smaller but smarter. Boxes will usually allow to build 5 models with options to build specialists like sniper/HMG etc., and be a dual kits. For example Imperial will have a box for 5 Blood Berets/Golden Lions. There will be boxes for all 5 megacorps and for the Dark Legion. There will be some classic art in the rulebook but also a new by some unknown for now artist, who did work for Paizo, and apparently his art is very close to Bonner's.

So we have another looong video (over 2h this time) for which I cannot find enthusiasm to watch, at least for now. Maybe someone else will do a summary this time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2wsuDFXUKY&t=116s

It's all rules design philosophy, franchise not tainted, support new stuff, miniatures like Bonner intended talk as far as I can tell.
Supposedly, production samples of plastic (not PVC, not HIPS) miniatures exist. Torso+legs in one piece, separate shoulder pads, arms and heads. All subject to change, nothing shown on camera.

Thanks for the summary Plastic that is not PVC?HIPS? As to the rest it is basically the repetition from other videos. Really Res Nova, couldn't you give at least a render?

Really, after a year they decided to show again the same pic? It is like they are trying not to build any hype. I had recently my Siege of the Citadel KS delivered and some MC nostalgia from old times hit me again, if briefly, so I had more expectations from the vid. Oh well, maybe next time haha.

I skimmed the video again to make sure no other images were shown, and yeah, that's it.
As an aside, listening to those guys trying to steer around the landmine question of, and I quote, "are you intending to tone it down (...) to make it not quite so white guy Eurocentric" was amusing. Lots and lots of awkward pauses, ummms and ahs.
Hearing that Brom's art for Dark Age was 'problematic' was less fun.
