Only hear these youtube vids about 40k, but shouldn't Smurfboy find the other fellow Primarchs? ..instead of wasting time on silly battles?

All the other loyalist primarchs are either dead or lost somewhere that Roboute couldn't possibly find them without help he doesn't have. The only exception is the Lion and everyone thinks he's dead.

Don't forget Guilliman for the most part is doing more to keep the disparate factions of the Imperium together during the Great Rift, which is incredibly hard given that warp travel is even more inconsistent than usual and entire swathes of the Imperium are cut off from each other. He has his hands full and it's not like anyone is giving him any hard evidence/clues to their whereabouts, since that would mean their corresponding chapters would have already tried at this point.

And to be fair, he’s probably keeping an ear out for rumors or leads. He is known to multi-task very well. But with everything going on, he’s not going to be able to dedicate a lot of personal time to track down what is a hail mary chance of finding his brothers.
40k has always been about spending all your time bailing out a sinking ship, just to break even. It would be nice to take the time to find the leak, but if you stop bailing for even a moment, the waves will overtake you.

This - given that he's got his own people (the Logos Historica Verita) trying to create a reliable Imperial history he definitely got someone trying to find leads on his brothers.

But sinking ship has done quite well for 10k years, and wasn't overrun or any of it's like, just run very poorly, but still managing.

A ship that sinks slowly is still a sinking ship.

The best (some would say only) part of Roboutes return is the fact that he is currently all alone. Been a Chaos player since the beginning, but after reading Roboutes POV in Dark Imperium and Plague Wars, I've become a fan.
A lone hero from a forgotten age, when the Evil Primarchs are still active. It played out very well.
For another Loyalist Primarxh to return, there would need to be some selling point for models. We've gotten Primaricized. The next Primarch would probably either go back to older Legion style (Russ and Lion) or maybe.... just maybe... we get Kahn and some jet bikes.

Half the living Primarchs "disappeared without a trace". Where's he going to find Russ....by going into the Eye of Terror?
Then there's the idea of staging sorties into either the Dark Eldar section of the webway or a Necron's personal art gallery.
Even having just Roboute and Lion active together would be a feat for the ages.

Even if Smurfboy doesn't find any, something should come along plot wise, and it would be logically that he would dedicate much effort to find his broz, don't see the logic in just fighting.

Don’t see the logic in just fighting? Hadn’t you heard, in the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war.
On topic though, I think the previous posters have it right, he’s been kept pretty busy with the Indominus crusade and trying to run the Imperium while fighting its deeply ingrained bureaucracy. Saying that, there’s nothing to suggest that he isn’t searching for the other loyalist primarchs.

The interesting question is what happens when he finds them. We know Corax has been using his daemon form (turning into a creature made of darkness and shadow) to hunt Word Bearers & Lorgar, and Russ might have turned Wulfen. Will Guilliman welcome his brothers back, or declare them tainted and try to kill them?

... no offense man but to dismiss what Gulliman's been doing as "just fighting" is pretty stupid. the man is orginization crusades to reclaim worlds lost (in a scenerio like that BTW time is also of the essence) and is also revamping Imperial logistics to allow it to be done, reforming departments of the Imperium to allow these necessities to be done etc. he's not exactly yoloing off at individual chaos run worlds.
Which I might add is proably what his brothers would be doing. Gulliman is much MUCH more useful leading the Imperium's war effort then fething off to the eye of terror to find a brother who may or may not be alive, and would be little more then a general (who would "just fight")
"just fighting" indeed

the amusing thing is I know what he's talking about, he's refering to Gulliman's dauntless few.
thing is I'm sure Gulliman would act on any solid intell he had on his brothers locations. but unless/until he gets intell, he'd literally be doing nothing. that said if say the space wolves came and told gulliman they found him, you can bet gulliman would be leading an army to get russ back

Yes, I think it was "The Dauntless Few"!
To my knowledge The Puppy Club goes out now and then looking for phat lootz that the Doggo has left behind, called "The Great Hunt", that should give some solid pointers to Doggo's last whereabouts, sure he could be transported quite far from those points where the phat lootz was found, but still.
Least fluff should state that Smurfboy has initiated search parties for Doggo and other Prime dude's whereabouts.

Look, if we can call characters by names that don't leave us more stumped than a Mad Doc's most recent patient, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.
I'm sure Guilliman has dedicated some effort to searching for his brothers, but that's simply not the priority when the Imperium is in the worst state it's been since before the Great Crusade. Devoting more resources to look for brothers he simply has no idea of the whereabouts comes after holding together the remnants of the Imperium and sorting out more stable logistics routes. Unfortunately, there ARE no decent clues that lead to any Primarchs, nothing that they don't already know. If they're coming back, it won't be because Guilliman found them.

The two Legions who for some reason work best together are the Dark Angels and Space Wolves. That's been a fluff item since at least 2nd edition.
They have repeatedly been described as able to overcome insurmountable odds if are able to set aside their grudges and work together.

Yes, that's why it would be logical to find Doggo and then kick some ass, which most here didn't understand and just thought it was a good idea to fight without Doggo.

I’ve been trying to follow this thread, but am finding it very frustrating and increasingly incoherent. Please use the names of the characters and things you are referring to. I’m still not sure who Doggo is. Is it supposed to be the grey knight leader, Kaldor Draigo?
