It's super cool for me to see my minis in a list with the incredible stuff that is on this thread. Thank you, Paradigm, for putting this together. And thank you everyone for the comments and suggestions, here and along the way.

@MobileSuitRandom, @feltmonkey, @Viterbi thanks so much for the kind words, I'm frankly amazed to be sitting so high in the votes, I thought there were a lot of entries better than mine this month. Maybe people were being kind as it's my first ever entry. ^_^'

Viterbi, I loved your overlords, the deep metallic green, gold/brass and gunmetal works really well together. Excellent work! Yours was one of the entries that immediately caught my eye for all the right reasons.

Thanks CancelledApocalypse! And don't worry, the votes for your piece are justified, I don't think it's first-entry-kindness

Didn't have the time to post earlier, but what a great outcome of this round!

Thanks for the comments, MobileSuitRandom and Feltmonkey. @Feltmonkey, yes I started his skin with contrast paint blue, but it was way too dark. The "hightlights" didn't come out the way I expected, maybe that was due to the primer which was not from Citadel. It pooled too much in places where it shouldn't. Found out afterwards apparently there's some kind of special finish to the Grey Seer/Wraithbone that makes the contrast paints flow better, leaving the higher areas less covered (providing the highlight effect). Things worked out better on the pants, luckily.

Some of my favorites:

Ezki, nice space paint job on the bike!
Viterbi, the colour of the armor looks good, I'd love to see larger pics.
CancelledApocalypse, love the blends on the cloak and the blade.
Feltmonkey, very crisp paintjob on all of them, but Crepitus with the OSL stands out for me. Awesome!
DV8, I didn't expect the orange base, but it looks wonderful contrasting with the green.
Chris56, great bunch of guys! I really like the one with the butterfly wings and you incorporated that Iron Golem perfectly.
DJJazzyJeff, your models deserve better way lighting/pics. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to see better pics of your work. The phasing camo mode is inspiring.
Midget Gems, I always enjoy your conversions and these entries didn't disappoint for sure. They're fun!
Paradigm, your dragon somehow reminds me of Granamyr from He-Man, though that version should have the wings from your miniature to become more imposing.

Pile of shame didn't disappoint, planty and beautiful entries.

Huge thanks to MobileSuitRandom, DV8, feltmonkey, Jamie Shred, straken619, A.D and CancelledApocalypse for the comments and votes.

I like the following enties:

Viterbi
queen_annes_revenge
CancelledApocalypse
Chris56
Tim121RVC
Power Elephant
DJJazzyJeff
Midget Gems
Paradigm

and my favourites:

Ezki - very nice free hand design and the snow base is well done as well.
DV8 - gorgeous entry from the color pallete, NMM, blends to the dusty base which complements the beautifully painted green perfectly. Bravo DV8!
Feltmonkey - fantastic set of miniatures. I really like the various colors you used, it works so beautifully. They look so different but the same time so cohesive.
Those minis are a sight for sore eyes!

Thanks again and to Para for the hard work, especially this month with so many entries.

Thank you, Tim. I don't have a real camera, but down the road it's something that'll be worth purchasing.

Thanks Tim 121RVCMade and Modock, happy you like the steam dwarves! And regarding your wish for larger pictures Tim, I'm not too sure about that, they are meant to be seen from a little bit away, detail photography is the enemy of my painting abilities

Hahaha, oh well I'm not interested in your details actually. It's the colour that makes me curious, it seems to look pretty cool!
As for the detail photography, don't be scared. I'm not such a good painter either (probably far from that! ), but it can help good painters point out to you where and how you can improve......

Very neat idea with the camo and they give a proper grim dark look, execution is a bit rough but nonetheless a vote well deserved.

I like the color scheme and the metallics as well. The army must be a beautiful sight on the table.

Whoops, completely forgot to announce the winners, time really ran away with me this month.

In third place, CancelledApocalpyse with an Eldar Farseer.:

In second, feltmonkey with the complete Stuffed Fables board game:

The heroic Stuffies. Piggle, Lumpy, Theadora, Mr Stitch, Flops, and Lionel -

The evil minions -

Three bosses. From left, Knuckle, a Snatcher, and The Dollmaker.

The two Big Bads, Skreela and Crepitus -

And taking the win with truly majestic style, DV8's Katakros, Mortarch of the Necropolis:

Well done all!

Can't believe it! Totally don't think I deserve third place, especially considering some of the other entries, but thanks to everyone, nonetheless! And huge congrats to such a worthy 1st and 2nd, feltmonkey and DV8, fantastic work from both of you! It's an honour to be considered even somewhere in the proximity of you guys.

My exodite farseer will now stride off to form the head of his own exodite army... who knows, perhaps official exodites aren't too far away?

At the moment it's only six dwarves walking around in this color scheme, most of my KO are bought painted of ebay and I only painted about 3 or 4 units in another scheme on release. But more green dwarves will follow in the not so far future and will appear on my plog: https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/782470.page

Congratulations to the winners, and to everybody who completed their entries. As I always say, you're all winners for putting paint to model and finishing projects!

Thanks Modock! Appreciate the comments!

The aim was a dusty desert feel, to try and harken back to some of the Nehekharan roots (I love Tomb Kings), which the OBR remind me a lot of. I'd originally tried a more yellow desert sand, but once I'd nailed the model colors (that green in particular), the orange just provided better contrast.
