So here I am, back again, relatively quickly!
Thanks Meer_Cat and Olthannon!
Just passed my four day training course and starting the 5 - 7 hour journey home now.
Snuck in some picture editing and blog writing in-between studying, no actual hobby since my last post though...
Starting off with other part of "mostly Necromunda stuff", I painted some more of Statuesque Miniatures Left at the Bottom of the Garden range;
LBG 32 A cloth wolf - Howling:
LGB 33 Three peerie woos:
They join my previous cloth wolfs pack:
You may notice that the paint scheme has been simplified a little bit so the fur pattern is more obvious and less busy compared to the original Snarling Wolf.
I preferred the much cleaner look which helped tie in with the other minis I've painted, so the Snarling Wolf was redone.

Halfway between cute doggos and Necromunda gangs, I found this cool guy in a old TTRPG shop:
Got painted pink because I didn't want to paint white, yellow or pale blue.
Already forgotten (and didn't write it down) who made the miniture.
I cut the pudding base down and used a soldering iron to help reshape the feet.
Also, using the metal from the base, I filled in a large hole in their crotch and smothed it out.
Not sure what to do with the base yet, thinking of sticking them on a ZM base for Necromunda...

Now on to Necromunda and starting with some terrian:
Finally finished my board with raised corner and confined space in it.
For the tiles I washed each square individually with a random choice of Agrax Earthshade, Nuln Oil or my own mystery blend from unknownable years ago in an attempt for variation and to help blend with previous boards.
I still can't replicate the same tone as my first two boards...
Inside the space I start with
OoP Terracotta as a "Primer" with some similar toned patches to represent touch-ups.
Thinned orange went into all the corners for rust and then a liberal amount of a black wash that I had that I knew would dry with a normally unwanted white residue.
On all the vertical surfaces I tried a new way of washing by pretty much covering it in water and then adding the washes which gave a much nicer blend for the grime.
I also painted lids for the side hatches, but I put them somewhere safe. So safe that I can't find them...
Next up I put some more paint on the datastack clusters:
Idea is to make it a bit brighter and stand out as an objective.
Also painted the datastacks themselves.
Very simple, dark brown, metal dry brush, black on the ends and finished with fluorescent paints over white for the lights.
Each has a magnet in the bottom so it doesn't fall out of the socket.
Also painted and magnatised all the power cells I could find in my bits box:
Copied the scheme I used on previous bits in other models but stopped at weathering.
Updated the vine thing I had:
Originally supposed to represent a Brain Leaf plant, its one leaf kept falling off. Now the wire has been replaced with one of those flexible creeping vines.
It looks a lot better in my opinion, but loses the obviously a trap feeling it used to have.
Not sure on the blue underside to the leaves, might change it to a bloody red...
Lastly for terrian:
Put together a long wall with the pipe sections from the Ruined ZM set.
As I used a mix of ruined and regular ZM bits I attcked it with a soldering iron to try and replicate the damage/corrosion. Most notably on the pillar toppers.
The pipe coming out the wall is magnetised and so can be removed and came from a happy little accident, when I dropped it and saw the magnet slot.
Again attacked by a soldering iron for damage to hide the fact it was already damaged.

On to models:
I have quite a few Palanite bits lurking around that I should probably do something with so I came up with this guy:
Picture pretty much sums up everything here.
Probably going to tone down the number of hazard stripe my few palanites have for this guy or he's gonna look like a boat in dazzle camo.
Lastly for now we have Sweb:
He works for the guild of electricity, I had a gothic name, I can't remember it right now, but I do remember it being a pain to find an appropriate and accurate latin word.
Hes also the guy in charge of the Lumen-Head Servitors and painted pretty much the same way as they were just with some black lacquer on his fancier armour.
Tried using decals of warning signs but decided it would be easier to paint them on.
Just need some fluff for him...
That's all for now folks, see you next time!
