I'm building a pc soon unless something goes really bad and I was just curious abort something: I've seen all sorts of desktop computer conversions, some awesome and some that the admech should investigate for tech heresy and abuse of machine spirits.

well, it occured to me someone out there might have done a 40k themed computer case conversion.

So, has anyone? Maybe done up like an admech cogitator with a 3d printed admech symbol on it? Or maybe some eldar or tau player did his mac up in their theme.

Just curious, if you'ver seen a 40k computer conversion let me know.

A necron monolith with lots of glowly green gak seems like such a massively obvious choice to me.

Take a look here https://walyou.com/warhammer-case-mod/

"Because the Wolves kill cleanly, and we do not. They also kill quickly, and we have never done that, either. They fight, they win, and they stalk back to their ships with their tails held high. If they were ever ordered to destroy another Legion, they would do it by hurling warrior against warrior, seeking to grind their enemies down with the admirable delusions of the 'noble savage'. If we were ever ordered to assault another Legion, we would virus bomb their recruitment worlds; slaughter their serfs and slaves; poison their gene-seed repositories and spend the next dozen decades watching them die slow, humiliating deaths. Night after night, raid after raid, we'd overwhelm stragglers from their fleets and bleach their skulls to hang from our armour, until none remained. But that isn't the quick execution the Emperor needs, is it? The Wolves go for the throat. We go for the eyes. Then the tongue. Then the hands. Then the feet. Then we skin the crippled remains, and offer it up as an example to any still bearing witness. The Wolves were warriors before they became soldiers. We were murderers first, last, and always!" —Jago Sevatarion

...You know, if I change the case lights on my Alienware desktop to green...

You could go simple and make it look like an ammo crate or a Lascannon power cell.

This idea is very weird, but it's worth trying, at least because of the fact that is original. I have never seen someone doing this before, so you might be the first. I believe that the possibilities of the 3d printers will grow a lot in the future, and we will be able to print a functional object/device, not only its' machete. I would be very excited about this, as I am working with rdp system, which I got from https://webpundits.in, because is something without which I can't imagine doing my work so fast and being able to work remotely.

That is great! A lot of work... maybe best would be something like this with a shelf for a pc so that upgraded systems can be swapped out without destroying the artwork...
