This has to be a record for the number of last minute entries! Did the end of June kind of creep up on everyone? I thought it was just me.

Cheers for the comments, Zerg and Chris. Did you know that Greedo was played by a woman? I only found that out yesterday when looking for reference photos. I wonder if this means that the character of Greedo was female? Either way, Han definitely shot first.

Not just you it crept up on, Feltmonkey. I thought I had about a week left until I glanced at a calendar yesterday for the first time in days! I think time is just a mess at the moment, the weeks fly by but 2020 seems like it's already been about 5 years long...

All these last minute entries are great! I'll leave this open for a few more hours to catch any stragglers.

Honestly the past month, and July will be mega busy for me since I'm in the last month of my MBA before graduation. Our capstone 601 consulting project is reaching the end, and that's taken up most of my time, even with the quarantine nonsense. So finding consistent hobby time has been harder the past while.

I also struggled to paint some of the Forgeworld Bounty Hunters and that Failcast Eisenhorn. Yikes. My motivation definitely waned.

That's my excuse, anyways

What a lovely community we have here Its just very much like ground hog day atm, but everyone is well which is the main thing

So much good stuff this month, in spite of the stresses and strains people are suffering under. Hope things get easier for everyone here.

Well, fingers crossed you get the grade you want, mate. I'm in awe of anyone who is managing to do anything like that under these circumstances, so kudos to you. And despite struggling for time and motivation, you still managed to produce five beautiful minis to enter - sickening! For context, I've been the very opposite of busy for the entire month and Greedo is the only model I've painted since last month's Harlequins.

Wow. End of June came out of no where. Hopefully I have better time management for the next one!

Late of course, but, importantly for my backlog, finished.





My ego wants to point out that the pages in the books are freehand ratehr than sculpted and on a model this small (that's a 25 mm base) it was a real pain to do them.


I concur with Midget Gems, lockdown is very much a groundhog day situation at the moment.

I've had various problems with my eyes, too, in the last few years. Never nice. Hope the problems clear up for you soon.

Get them lasered. Laser solves everything!

Especially when you get a cybernetic replacement that shoots them.

Definitely no need to apologise, completely appreciate you organising the whole thing on your own for the love of it. Genuinely thought I'd missed it with all the changes going on. Hope your eyesight improves soon.

Hate to ask, but is anyone up for finishing off the compilation of this round's entries and throwing up the poll? It's been a crazy week and it turns out the eye problems are worse than I thought so I'm trying to cut down on bright screen time for a bit.

If anyone's willing to give it a go, PM me and I'll shoot you some instructions on the best way to set it up. I've done the first five pages, so it's mostly the deluge of last day final pics that need adding.

On a similar note. anyone willing to volunteer for July's poll setup and/or August's round as a whole?
