The original launch asset pack contains:
8 bases of 3 Bombers
6 bases of 5 Fighters
2 bases of 1 Torpedo
Costs $30

These new packs are exactly half the size and cost $20. TTC hiding a price hike sucks, but TTC sucking is nothing new.

All their USD prices jumped way above the conversion rate to incorporate the tariffs.

Asset packs feel like they are double the price they should be.

Fleet packs are fine price wise; but yeah assets feel really badly priced for what they are.

TTCombat: Advent Calendar Day 6, UCM Battlecruiser

The United Colonies of Mankind are ready to face all threats...

The United Colonies of Mankind are preparing to fend off the new Bioficer threat and have taken to humanity's shipyards to prepare new ships for the fight. A hulking Supercarrier, the Busan will play a key part in forcing back the approaching Bioficer fleet into the depths of space. Armed with the Elapid Laser Turret, UF-4200 Mass Driver Turrets, Arowana Missile Turrets and the Swordfish Missile Bays, this ship is a floating fortress. Thanks to it's hulking clamp, this ship operates as a Feature Carrier and can take UCM-specific features and deploy them across the battlefield.

The Busan is just one ship from a new wave of plastic Cruisers which will be releasing this coming year in Dropfleet Commander.

It could just be a bad angle, but that sure does look like the ugliest UCM model I've yet seen. It looks like it has a tiny fragile waist, an asymmetrical outrigger for the missile turret, a big goofy front laser turret, and the dangly bits. It's not at all AI generated, but it has the digested and regurgitated design look to it.

I hate it.

Something looks off in terms of perspective between the top prow and the bottom prow. Also, the vending machine claw holding the feature is goofy.

Other than that I actually like the hull, if not this particular loadout.

on the forum. Obviously

That is a weird ship. Is it even consistent with the rest of the UCM ship designs? It looks like 2-3 prototypes cobbled together in blender or whatever CAD program they use.

Dave is by all accounts an AutoCAD man, assuming he's still the sole modeler.

The background says ten years of wartime advancement have passed, so I think it looks close enough to previous designs while also looking further developed due to evolving doctrine and tech. The old resin battlecruisers are much better-looking designs, but I’ll probably get the new plastic BCs in time.

TTCombat: Advent Calendar Day 8, Scourge Battlecruiser

Humanity's oldest enemies will not be outgunned by new and old threats.

Banshee's have been a backbone ship for Scourge admirals in Dropfleet Commander for years now, with various designs being produced by the parasite's mysterious shipyards since before the conquest. Like the previous designs, this Banshee still deploys an Oculus Beam Array along with a Plasma Tempest, plus a Torpedo load. The ships design has changed a fair amount and now seems to bridge the missing gap between those seen in recent conflicts and those first encountered during the Scourge's emergence.

This Banshee is just one new Battlecruiser that will be available to order in 2026.

I really don't like it!

I can’t tell if it looks more like MST3k’s Crow or MST3k’s Gypsy.

It's just a bit plopped on the top. There's no effort in making it look like part of the model at all.

This is just pathetic. And Gypsy.

This is the current Banshee, so I'm guessing they thought it needed a more obvious torpedo launcher

The torpedo launcher is plenty visible…from below. I guess from now on every weapon needs to be visible to someone leaning over the table.

Still, the miniature looks like it would be fine without the Turanga Leela Special, maybe even just as cool as the resin. I’ll just leave the lumpy bits off mine.

In fairness I can agree that having weapons visible when playing can help, esp when playing opposed to ships that aren't your own faction.

That said I do also agree that it kind of just looks dropped on there on the new ship. It doesn't flow with the shape which is normal for the faction. Be interesting to see if its just the angle and composition of the photo that's doing it and perhaps the paint job too

They are capable of doing a 'hat' better than this. The DZC Corsair/Brigand hat hides its edges reasonably well and that was another retrofitted model. But they designed the Spectre skimtank from scratch and its hat looks terrible. I have both models I'm speaking about, not just going by pictures here. If anything, they look worse in person.

Oh man, and then there's the PHR Battleship with the gun that only partially covers the launch bays that looks like hot ass.

The missile on that Scourge ship is horrible, but I'm assuming thats just one variant the kit will make.
The ship model itself looks good.

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it.

I think there's actually a second set of hats. Instead of swappable heads like the old kit had, this one now has a set of plasma 'sponsons' that go on the head. It's even uglier than I first imagined, and this its good angle.

TTCombat: Advent Calendar Day 17, Dreadhold Map

You've already fought to decide the fate of the Dreadhold in Dropfleet Commander but that doesn't mean the combat aboard the Penal Security Corp ships is over.
Fast-paced 32mm tabletop warfare aboard the Dreadhold! Over the years we've seen several Commanders merge their games of Dropfleet and Dropzone into a single game/campaign so why not incorporate the Dreadhold into Striketeam Commander? Breach into inmate cells, barricade the officer quarters, and perhaps secure Atrax. This map pack will add new combat opportunities and scenarios to Striketeam Commander and will be available post Kickstarter fulfilment and retail launch. If you haven't already played the Dreadhold campaign, you can get your copy of the game here.

That's an uninspiring mat...

Which is ironic as they've also announced they're doing tiles -

What response were they aiming to with this? I can’t speak to normie gamers, but I find tiles and mats uninteresting. They’re not psyching me up for future releases.

The tiles are pre-painted (going to be part of their Chroma range), so aimed at lazy gamers. The mat is odd considering Striketeam isn't out yet...

These will be sold in a bundle of 36 tiles, each with a different design. Once all individual tiles have been combined, you can form a complete 3 x 3-foot board.
That sounds like a bit of effort to set up

So...

2 inch squares.

Each tile is 6 by 6 inches.

Sounds reasonable.

TTCombat: Advent Calendar Day 18, Delta Commander

As we know, the UCM classifies any Bioficer bio-construct with an onboard AI as an Intelligence. Bioficers seem to put more effort into creating ‘living’ chassis that aren’t remotely controlled, and they can be identified by their additional AI housing and high-grade gear. The biological elements are, as always, disposable and short-lived, and usually fresh for each engagement. A Delta is one of the smaller ones but is an utterly terrifying thing to face in combat.

Deltas are lightning-fast, hyperaggressive, and eight-limbed. Two of these protrude, tentacle-like, from its back and are tipped with Decon Carbines for ranged lethality. It even has a needle-toothed ‘mouth’, although there’s no throat—it’s purely for biting, rending, and tearing off heads. Traumatised survivor testaments always focus on the speed of these things though, coupled with their unnatural movements and soulless eyes. Unlike Bioficer drones, they fight with devious intelligence and seem to revel in slaughter. Sadly for the UCM, its plucky ground forces have now come into contact with our freshly printed Delta. It's fantastic to see this miniature's progress from the initial render and art, and we can't wait to start sending some out to those who pledged for this miniature on the Striketeam Commander Kickstarter.
