Did the Necron get improved weapons as well? Can we expect improvents for qeapons that saw no or little play in every codex that comes?

A lot of necron weapons changed. Sometimes in very odd ways (shots and strength got rejuggled for a lot of the non-gauss weapons). Some of them are worse, especially in the face of a lot of W2 models. Tesla got 'unmodified 6s' for extra hits (as expected) so don't benefit from MWBD, but don't lose extra hits from penalties either.

But its notable that the Triarch stalker's Heat Ray got the MM and flamer improvements baked in.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

Well Blood Angels got load of updates, including all the dreadnoughts!

And proper profile for Death Company Intercessors.

The DC Intercessors datasheet is a mess though... also, you can't take a power weapon if you take chainswords, which seems quite dumb seeing as there is a thunder hammer in the Assault Intercessors box, and DC Intercessors can take one if they keep their bolters.

Also they gutted our relics and strats (no standard of sacrifice is huge...). Though I'm sure this will get expanded on again in the supplement.

No kidding. This means you reroll all wounds, not just fails. Modifiers don't count. Thank you, Captain Pedantic.

Ah, I see what you mean now! My apologies.

I also can’t see where CSM get 2 wounds like old marines do. Am I wrong in assuming they would get this?

I believe it was mentioned in the community article that they'd get it too, but if it isn't in this update, it might well only come along with the Codex.

It was mentioned in the Community article that it wouldn't come until the new codex. They always specifically said Chaos wounds would NOT be updated with Marines.

I find the logic difficult though to bring CSM weapons in line with SM weapons but not unit stats. Would have been fairly simple. I guess we will end up with DG units getting an extra would but having to wait for CSM codex etc for the updates

How much did everyone pay for the bonus wounds? Looks like:

Bikes: +5
Tacs/Assaults/Devs/Sternguard vets: +3
Tactical Terminators: +2
Vanguard Vets: +2
Thunder Hammer Assault Terminators: +1
LC Assault terminators: +0

I miss anyone in the cascade of datasheets, or do some of that wrong? I'm thinking about temporary house-rule parity fixes here.

GW also forgot about Black Legion & Renegade Chapters. Can you still not use Black Legion in tournament games since vigilus is no go in that?

*sighs* Viglus is not a "no go"

the specialist detachments from vigilus are a no go (in tournies) but the rules themselves, (black legion and chaos renegades rules) are still 100% legit

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Apparently the Tau Ion Rifle now doubles its range to 60" when overcharged.

All hail the Pathfinder snipers who can shoot the entire length of the board, I guess.
