Void Blade, Mystic Trance, Control Animal, Camouflage, Regenerate.
Grab Combat Armour, a hand weapon, and whatever else you fancy. Use Trance to get Camouflage up and running before you start the game. Activate your Void Blade and you're immune to shooting beyond 12", with +5 Fight against shooting rolls closer than that. And, uh, people probably don't want to get much closer than that, because your Void Blade will mess them up. Control Animal is kinda situational to the point of almost irrelevant, but that's not exactly a problem because you have stuff you can do most turns, either a melee attack or Regenerate usually.
God I love models that look terrific with a simple paint job. GW has me so used to over-engineered, excessively detailed models that I feel like a failure for even daring to paint them. These? Totally different story, while still looking great on the table.

Yes, this is the best mystic by far, but then I can see why they left him out - I am far more likely to order a top-up from Northstar now, and I might as well pick up some other stuff along with him.
And yes, great to see models that look fab with a fairly 'simple' paintjob
Is it time to rename this thread to "Stargrave - News and Rumours"?

If you wanna play a literal Jedi surely you'll just use actual Jedi minis and probably the actual Star Wars setting with SW bad guys and terrain and all, there are plenty of resources for that. And if you don't wanna play a literal Jedi, why do you want to play a knockoff Jedi?

Northstar loves their Mystics. We got three in the Nickstarter, and they are showing off a fourth, and he does look good. Do their sculptors just like creating Mystics, or will a future supplement focus on them?
Speaking of not-Sith, here's one made from FG Demon bits. Looks like a Cultist body to me.
I am putting together and painting the crew box. These are the best plastic minis by northstar so far!
They are a ton of fun to pose and the kitbashing potential is amazing.
I have an order for one of each box with a supplier here in Sweden, should keep me busy for awhile.
I havent played yet but the rules seems good to me.
Getting a closer look at the painted model, I see why they didn't include flame-thrower parts in the sprues; there's the hose, tank, and heat guard for the arm & shoulder nearest the muzzles. That was probably easier to do a chunk of metal than trying to make all those extra parts fit with modular bodies.
(Of course, they could have also just done an Aliens or Space Marine style flamer with the small tank attached to the gun itself).
I got my shipping notification Saturday (I'm expecting it'll actually get picked up on Monday...). If you haven't got a shipping notification, it'd probably be worth going to the Brigade Games website and checking your order status there.

Have fun! Assembling is the best part, using bits from many different kits, including FG & GA kits. Now that I've primed figures, and have started painting, I'm dragging my heels. But I assembled a bunch of figures in a hurry! {And want to build more.}
Have used the following non-SG Northstar plastics with SG parts. FG wizards 1 & 2, GA Crew. The GA Crew heads have a curved neck while SG plastics are flat, so trimming is required to use them on SG bodies.
@Danny76: You asked in the Show Your Crews thread, 'Where's Wash?" in my "Firefly crew. Had an idea; so I've built "Wash" with a GA Crew body and the lizardman head from the SG Mercs sprue. "Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!"
