Assuming the run is the same as the UK one;
issue 1 was the two Hero's
issue 2 was three Necron Warriors
issue 3 was the Assault Intercessors
issue 4 is the Scorpth Destroyers

Yes. I've been using these articles as a guide. Flayed Ones were in issue #15.

Mine arrived. Some slight damage to the magazines themselves- dog-eared corners, marks from rough handling, etc. I sent Hachette an email complaining about the packaging.

I work at a B&N and we got (and are getting) no info about these. Our store got #3 without ever getting issues 1 or 2, and it's been long enough that we should have gotten issue 4 by now. I don't know that any actual Warhammer fans in the area even know to look for the damn things in our store, so the sales will probably be so poor that home office will drop the title. I may just start shelving it in with the 40K novels in the hopes of getting someone who actually wants it to see it.

My local bn has a copy of issue 3 and a couple copies of issue1 on the shelf. My sub showed up a few days back. I plan to go check in a few weeks to grab issue 5 with the captain if I can. It was in the magazine area by all the model plane and train stuff, not with the white dwarf.

Got to talk to my local B&N yesterday.. they also get no clue when the issues show up, they just do. No issue 3 yet, they still had issue 1 but behind the counter. I found out why..
they HAD issue 2 for a day.. and after it was out in the area with the games, an employee noticed that all the bags had been slit, and the models and paint removed .. just the paper products left, and the store felt they could not sell it like that, so, they offered the paper products for free to anyone who bought issue 1

I hope they catch the thieving bastard who did that. They deserve the Inquisition treatment for such petty greed.
They should set up high quality hidden cameras in the isle and set some Issues out there as bait. Issue 4 is sure to lure them if they went after the measly 3 ETB Warriors and Rune Lord Brass in Issue 2. Catch them red handed and send them off to the frontline penal legions in Warzone Octarius!

Can confirm as a former B&N employee that they're not allowed to confront thieves.

EDIT New Stormbringer thread
https://www.warhammerstormbringer.com/
Stormbringer reveal - SCE vs Kruleboyz - with some Sylvaneth, KO, Ironjawz and Gitz for good measure. I might sub for this one could use a good bit of that even stuff I already have. I'm not seeing the issue 5 special mini (if there even is one)

Whelp that looks fantastic for a set. Also nice to see its an alliance setup for the good side and not just stormcast.
I might end up grabbing the dragon issues if I remember

If it comes to the US, I will probably subscribe...lots of stuff I have not gotten around to picking up, and a bunch of figures that I can now build with alternate heads/equipment.
But probably pass on the Premium...already got Dominion, so the value is just not there for me.

I’m thinking you get the model, and the Battle Tome? That would probably edge them toward “worth it”?

I don't know they all have "Stormbringer" on them which suggests that they aren't battletomes but unique documents made for the magazine itself as I don't think GW would reprint battletomes with new covers just for the magazine. I might be wrong but I'd wager they are a colourful intro book to the faction.

Aren't those just the collected pages you get from the magazines? The modeling pages, Painting guides, Play information and background? so each issue you get a few pages of each to put into binders. Sorry, I am on my work computer and the office blocks a lot of images so I don't see what you are all seeing, but that's what I would believe your getting. They did do that space marine codex for the one chapter as a premium though, so it could be a small battletome for a SCE chamber.

Isn't the "+ more" just likely to be the other stuff on those sprues? So Yndrasta comes with the 3 Annihilators and the Knight Vexillor for example? (then probably a paint or two)

Question:
I noticed that the last of the premium subscription packs comes with issue 69. Will you still pay the extra $3 all the way up to issue 80, or will the subscription revert back to the normal price at that point?

All the way.
But after 69 you can cancel there technically and you’ve only paid premium on the 69 issues.

Having a hard time finding these in my part of the US. My local Warhammer store only had issue #1 on 1/26, but none other so far (citing shipping delays), whereas my local B&N has issue #2... Haven't found issue #3 yet. I was excited for this, but having to check stores multiple times a week is not fun.

It's been impossible to find in my area (Minneapolis) as well. Most Barnes & Noble stores had issue #1, but I have not seeing any copies of #2 or #3 in the stores. I pass by two B&N stores on my commute home so I've checked multiple times, but no luck.

I would expect stocking of later issues to be dependent on how well previous issues sold. I just went ahead and subscribed to it. I play both marines and Necrons, so the models will all get used.

I subscribed when it was first available and even went for the premium subscription, but changed my mind after deciding there was just too much I didn't want (paints, binders, etc). If things don't improve or at least get more consistent I may consider subscribing... But shipping is such a deal breaker.

It has been that way in Europe as well though - the only real way to guarantee not missing out on anything is getting the subscription.

To be honest it’s always very similar in the UK for a lot of people, either not stocked or being snapped up.
But the whole point is to sign up to the sub so I guess that’s what they want.
Obviously here we have the Forbidden Plnet route to buy up loads of issues if needed.
