The hand with the two metal knives attached to them, a la wolverine, is probably solved too. The cybork riding the squighog in the trailer looks like he's using it

New one. Some manner of spear, I think?

https://www.warhammer-community.com/2021/03/23/the-rumour-engine-23rd-march-2021/

Its... oddly specific in design but generic enough that I can't attach a specific faction to it. Not even sure on the system.

It actually reminds me of the Blighted Ogrun Warmongers from Hordes' Legion faction. Bar the 'crossbeam' on the blade.

Bit of an odd dichotomy there between the pristine and precisely manufactured tip and the banged up, improvised mounting.

95% it's Chaos something. New daemon engine? Warcry monster?

The curve of the tip makes me think it's a bow or standard or something similar.

I'm leaning that way, but only because we know they're coming.
Can't 100% rule out chaos (either system), orcs, ogres or even some Death models.

Reckon it's part of the beast snagga trukk rather than a mounted weapon.
But is that claw looted from something? Little defiler or dunecrawler?

The thing about the Beastsnagga stuff is that now we can legitimately start guessing 'squigs' as the answer again, and we may even be right.

I think the Hoof is also solved, either by Blood Knights or Kragnos.

Spoiler:

Blood Knights don't have horseshoes but Kragnos would fit really well. Still can't figure him out though, something beastmen, maybe a new take on Chaos Dwarfs? Being buried under a mountain & being angry about losing his people seems like a dwarfs thing, also the bronze-agey ornaments on the shield? He's not a bull centaur, though, that's quite obviously a horse tail. Hmmmm

Something i noticed today it's the alternative build for Arch-khavalos skeketal horse does have that kind of horseshoes.

The odd thing is that skeletal horse sport a pair of lowerjaw tusk.

Aww, takes all of the fun out of it.

Reckon that spear is being used to coup de grace a Primaris lieutenant.

Ahh, that’s better.

Here’s the next one.

I’m thinking AoS, relating to the teaser from the last reveals show.

The post seems pretty hyped about the full model. Sounds really awesome. Probably AoS.

If you’re at a loss as to what the Rumour Engine is showing us this week, you’re not alone. But one thing is undeniably true – you’re going to think the whole model is awesome when you see the rest of it. Just look at it – it’s halfway to awesome already!

DUnno- maybe its just me being hopeful (probably is!) but those... "mace heads" look too neat for Orks- makes me think chaos...or...dare i say it... Fimir.

(But we all know it won't be Fimir, so my bet is its fits into a new chaos marauder/horseback marauder kit of some kind.

Maybe something for warcry.)

Given that Kragnos has some weird Centaur-Dwarf vibes going....Fimir are possible? Some sort of Centaur/Fimir based Destruction faction?

If we don't get fimir, I want more fomoroid.

But since FW has stopped selling fimir and chaos dwarves, I'm hopefully we'll get a plastic AOS equivalent. I mean, chaos dwarf-ish dudes have already popped up in BL stories

Deadfingers posted this on B&C, hypothesizing that it might be World Eaters:

DeadFingers, on 30 Mar 2021 - 11:02 PM, said:

Look at the weights at the end of his chains, now back at the Rumour Engine, now back to Khârn, now back at the Rumour Engine. The Rumour Engine is now diamonds a World Eaters Retiarius wielding a weighted net. Say that three times fast.

At the very least it's so similar in design that it might even be the same bit pulled from their CAD files, and anyone that knows me knows I have a tendency to go on and on about GW's use of design language to establish a coherent look across their different ranges. Option B to keep it 40k is that it belongs to the Beast Snaggas, but again, the fact that they're practically identical is making all of my alarms go off.

So again, at the risk of creating hopes that might be dashed later on, I must ask: Is this it? Are we finally seeing a sign of the next Traitor Legion rear its spiky, bunny-eared head over the horizon?

edit: apparently these weights are also on Be'lakor's chains as well, so it is presumably Chaos, even if it isn't WE

Rope material doesn’t strike me as 40K though.

I do agree it probably is Chaos though, as I think Destruction wouldn’t be as uniform in look?

Yeah agreed, that was my first thought as well. Could be a cultist unit or something but AOS seems more likely as I can't imagine World Eaters tying knots during arts and crafts hour. Strongly doubt it's Destruction.

Sets it as chaos easily.
Would have said definitely Khorne if it weren’t for Be’lakor also having these.

Side note though;
World Eaters aren’t Just rage and anger.
I’m sure they could tie a knot..

Khorne probably make the best spouses in Chaos since they're all about duty and honour.
