I think you know that position is already taken.

I really enjoyed that.

Flawed heroes, flawed villains. Everyone in just a bit too deep. None of them necessarily making anything any better.

Definitely strands there I want followed up on.

I found it kind of meh. Parker is a bit by the numbers, but Joe leaves a really good impression. Unfortunately that doesn't do me much good because I really dislike the protagonist. Also...

Spoiler:
...the whole business where the suit is both super expensive and thrown together from junk found in the scrapyard just doesn't go together. Plus the complete absence of any investigation into the suit wearing criminal by the authorities. The whole things feels jarring.

I think the ending helps somewhat redeem the show. It was enjoyable enough, but mainly in spite of the main character, for all the reasons already mentioned. Parker's gang are entertaining and interesting without being written as in any way "the good guys". Zeke has a better character arc than Riri and Parker himself is well written. It's just Riri that annoys me, which is a problem when she's the main character.

Spoiler:
At least the decision at the end (assuming she did actually make the deal, as implied) is in-character. It's stupid after she witnesses what happens to Parker but it conforms exactly to what Zeke said to her when she visited him in prison. It's ultimately a selfish decision. That's fine, because it's not really a surprise looking back at her arc during the 6 episodes. The problem still remains that she's an unlikable main character and the show never really owns up to the fact that her "predicament" is both illogical and entirely self-inflicted. All the "woe is me" bullgak doesn't really work if you take 5 seconds to stop and think about what she's capable of but it has to happen to put her where the plot needs her to be. It's just lazy writing.

Still, it's laziness that can be corrected in a potential second season. If there is one, I hope they go all in on the fact that Riri is not a good person and don't try to redeem her. Also, here's hoping they don't try to play more into the "!woe is me" side of her deal with Mephisto since, y'know, she knew what she was getting into there.

That is a really good point.
Spoiler:
You would think the police who can trace a piece of exotic biotechnology overnight would be able to locate the very obvious flying suit, that was also clearly involved in the crimes. Or, for that matter, the dude running around in a hood who keeps wounding people at these heists

There are many hits to verisimilitude.

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleyways and mugs them for loose grammar.
