Kangaroo moves with legs together. Boing, boing, boing. No independent movement.
Look at the model. Legs are NOT together.
Put to youtube video of kangaroos moving. Legs are never like they are in the model.

Yes but its fantasy so these fantasy roos could have each leg move on their own for more intense and evasive Roo weaving in the heat of battle. Much evasive, such skill.
You tube has no videos of fantasy War Roos like these, so it can not help me.

I don't think the bats are holding the hair and it's mopre he's turning from a cloud of bats to corporeal or viceversa, similar to like they did in the Dracula Untold film.

Maybe, I'd need to see a better pic or different angles, as from what it looks like to me the bats are carrying it's hair like little tiny cuties so all the blood doesn't get into it's sexy? hair.

It looks like a kangaroo to me, not a fan at all.
And don't like the admittedly unclear glimpse of the vampire.
I guess my wallet can heave a sigh of relief.

Well, there was a GW store manager around here who once told a friend of mine the only good faction in warhammer fantasy was the vampire counts. True story, maybe this model is the ultimate evolution of them from blood thirsty evil to disney good guy ? He wasn't wrong all these years, they were simply an evil looking people with hearts of gold. Just look how happy the bats are to help ? A real Cinderella moment. Perhaps it has evil step sisters as well.

It does look like a Kangaroo, but that isn't a reason to hate it, but a reason to love it. The time of the War Roo battle beast squadron is upon us all and I say, about time.

GW Store manager was arguably correct about Vlad Von Carsten at least.
Even when he was invading, he gave the same choice. Surrender and live, or resist and die. Serve me in life, or serve me in death. And he kept his word.
Sadly, Konrad and Mannfred didn’t exactly share such sentiments.

If it's an AOS spinoff and not Old World then maybe they're redoing Warcry as a more traditional range game with army books, list building, etc. That'd be true to type since they've just sold loads of supplement books for it - better invalidate those.

I don't think it's just a blacked out version of the logo, it's a placeholder like the Mad Doc said.
If we stick with the Warhammer Quest theory, that's a system with a distinctly shaped logo that would give up the surprise immediately.
If it was Warcry, then much like the Middle-Earth theory, they'd just say it.

I'd imagine so. Picture looks legit, the mace was in a recent rumor engine, etc. And since it's already in a clampack, it's not like it's going to be a Warhammer quest model that get's left without a faction once they inevitably rebox it. We've seen quite a few teases that hint at vampires and zombies coming, beyond things like Warhammer Underworld, so Soulblight are finally getting their due. Though, I'm surprised they stuck with soulblight. I don't mind the name, but they usually drop the original faction name they came up with

Isn't soulblight the AoS term for vampirism? A vampire is soul blighted(?) like a big green bloke is an Orruk.

I guess the Soulblight Gravelords will be a new faction uniting the former Soulblights and certainly Deadwalkers / Deathmages. Maybe Deathrattle as well.

That would be my hope. As much as I have enjoyed the Nighthaunts, the Ossiarch Bonereapers were not what I was hoping for with the skeleton/zombie hordes. I really enjoy the Von Carstein style aesthetic and this would be perfect if they brought it back.

I bet it is. It's obviously a plain version of the AoS logo and I bet it's intended to tell us the game is AoS based. They could have used a blacked out version of the new game's actual logo. That they didn't tells us that it would be either too revealing (if it were the recognizable shape of Warhammer Quest for example) or not revealing enough (if it's something new) so they put "vanilla AoS" instead, because that's precisely how much info they wanted to give out.

There have been plenty of Vampires in Warhammer who were if not good (usually) girls were less evil than many and often looked good doing it too.
AOS has had some similar characters like https://ageofsigmar.lexicanum.com/wiki/Adhema and https://ageofsigmar.lexicanum.com/wiki/Karya_Treveign with Neferata being happy to renew the alliance with Sigmar and Order - in the Age of Myth it is noted that Soulblight nobles paid friendly visits to Azyr and Wight Lords fought in tournaments.
It looks like Adhema would fit quite nicely the model - maybe without the hairdressing bats
I am interested to see what the background of the Lumineth mount - thre are quite a few cool ones in the lore so hope to see more like this.

When GW stores got their demo/shelf copy of The Two Towers rule book, staff had to black out an image of an Uruk Hai Berserker because of licensing requirements (it was fine to be in the book overall, but wasn’t to be shown off until a specific date). I don’t recall there being others, but given I was the bloke with the sharpie, I can guarantee the Berseker one for sure.
This can be to keep surprises for the show/film, as well as to try to head off pirating of designs as much as possible for all license holders.
Mouth of Sauron had rules in the Return of the King rulebook but they couldn't show pictures of the model until the Extended Edition was out as well I think.

The only solid info so far on these mounts is related to Phil Kelly's initial notes that each of the Aelementari Temples have a kind of 'home nation'.
Ymetrica is where the Alarith(Mountain) Temple originated from.
Zaitrec is where the Wind Temple has originated from and the mounts are desert/plains-dwelling creatures. From the army book, the 'patron spirit' is called "The Slicing Gale" as a bonus note.
