Murderbuckets is the delightfully whimsical name given to the Cryptothralls, a bodyguard unit for Crypteks.

Yes, the front guy is a Cryptek. I can't tell enough detail for the arms/hands on the back item to see if it's a Cryptothrall or not.

I would not be shocked though if Crypteks include a Cryptothrall or two in the set, like the Dark Apostle and the various Stormcast heroes with Gryph-Hounds.

I reckon that's a Flayed One not a Murder Bucket, maybe a new Kill Team (or Kill Team starter set) with one of the new Crypteks and the Flayed Ones.

Doubt the buckets will get an individual kit as the codex has them as a 2 model unit max, unless they come in the Crypteks sets as bodyguards.

It's flayed ones. You can tell because of the "raptor" claw toe they've got on the foot. Several of the flayed ones have it, and you can see it in the tease

I will never be able to look at those without thinking "West Coast" or "WuTang Clan"

Looks like the Chronomancer will finally get his release, along with the Flayed Ones in Kill Team.

what you see on the miniatures are markers of amaing in KT game .

My question is if the "good ones" will be inquisition or something interesting, or just more marines.

Hadn’t they already confirmed Flayed Ones are coming in Kill Team, which is like,y a new starter.

But also, the 2 day reveal thing, it says target acquired over the two silhouettes.
That’s very Kill Team esque anyway.
So it’s definitkey for that.

Kill Team *could* be something cool, like Inquisition or Ecchlisiarchy, both of which are rumored to get models, with the latter actually have strong rumor engines supporting at least one or two models.

However, we're still waiting on Primaris eradicators, bladeguard, the new captain, etc, which could have some of the kits used in the new kill team box instead :(

We're still waiting for the Adepta Sororitas Palatine to be released and a Sanctuary 101 themed Kill Team box with Necrons and Sisters would be a nice throwback to the Necrons first White Dwarf battle report.

warhammer quest with vampire hunter, stormcast archer+ priest and a few of the other human knives and swords vs bunch of undead which will lead into vampires proper with maybe werewolf as main villain.

Ecchlisiarchy fits more of the "divine" than Inquisition, and we know they're definitely coming.

I'm guessing this event will reveal all the Christmas rumor engines, or at least a lot of them. They probably saw they got some backlash from the last few reveals being small, and will make up for it with this one. However, I hope they didn't get too much spoiled already, since I imagine a few people will gripe about seeing this revealed again, despite them only being revealed early due to leaks (though the gazelle aelf and Underworlds leader could have still been kept secret till Saturday)

Hopefully CSM are there for a codex announcement alongside Sisters, but more likely to just be generic baddies I guess. Focus is clearly on SoB there. Fingers crossed!

Probably rhetorical, but in universe if one is going to encounter a CSM warband, it is far more likely to be Black Legion than any other. Out of universe, Black Legion are the chosen box art faction and unfortunately that means a very high skew that all art uses them instead of any other Chaos Legion. I don't know the Sisters of Battle subfactions, but I am willing to bet the one featured in that are is also the same as the chosen box art subfaction. That's just how most GW art works now. I am not a fan even if I have 3 factions (1 40k, 2 AoS) that are painted the same way. It makes the universe seem much smaller for little reason.

At worst they'll be a faction set. They've been teasing the Indomitus stuff so far, so I wouldn't worry.

The Bladeguard have been known about for some time as coming with the Dark Angels supplement...which was to be a January release.
The Lumineth Wind Temple cavalry and Vampire Lord got leaked--they replied to it. They also added the Vanari Lord-Regent to the mix. We know there's a character variant of the Vanari Lord-Regent and there's at least the Wind Temple Mage still to be shown.
There's the Kill Team stuff to get previewed.
Whatever the "?" is, the full Underworlds warband, the 40k stuff, the Titanicus stuff, and the rest of the Age of Sigmar stuff as well.

I dunno. Three-model kits just bother me- the model to dollar value is going to be really terrible.
Plus, the options available are kind of... meh? And the sheer impracticality of the giant holsters and the shields on the backpacks. Seriously, SM arms don't articulate that way- there is no way for a Bladeguard to get a shield off his backpack, beyond a 'magnetic release' and a lightning fast anime-style 'spin and pose.'

Still, it is nice to see another piece of the backlog get checked off.

They’ll be at least $83AUD, (following other similar 3 model kits) which is hilarious for 3 duders.
