I assume the redemptionist fire pike is a little lower tech than the Fire Dragon one
I am impressed by the flaming g hat though. It looks like it would actually burn for a while compared to he old.style brazierontheheadwithnootherfuelsourceotherthanhair efforts.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Ok..So in terms of 40k, where does generic gray skull demon fellow fit in to the general hierarchy of "biggest strongest boys with the best coolest swords"?
-Avatar of Khaine
-Abbadon
-Nightbringer Skelton
-Guilliman
-Mortarion now that he's a big strong demon boy
-Emperoni
-Horace Heresy
-I dunno, Khorne I guess?
Where we putting The Gray Man in that general fluff hierarchy?
Bel'Akor is a great character in miniature, design, and fluff, and very old, from fantasy. In 40k he has always been an aftertought.
Redemptionists however, with (as expected) more on Saturday? That is non-ironically great stuff! Especially the news that they can be their own gang too.

I love this new Rammstein-demptionist look! Even prefer it to the originals, gasp!

To me this suggests that Codex: Daemons is quite a bit further away than I had hoped. Having Be'lakors rules in a supplement only makes sense if the codex comes much later.
Though we have had examples where rules were in a supplement and then a Codex got a release shortly after too though haven’t we?
Well, DG are getting it shortly after and DE are getting it the same day, and we're getting the Ad Mech and Imperial Knights 'supplements' before the 9th ed Codex release (in Warzone Charadon book 1), so its anyone's guess at this point.

Redemptionist is... huh. Not sold on the fire hat, and would've rather had a different style of mask from the Cawdor standard. Otherwise a good model. (especially for chaos cultist conversions...)
I guess we'll see the rest on Saturday, so... would've preferred something else.
We’ve got two more models to come on Mondays.
I could quite imagine if they aren’t wanting to reveal too much they stick to stuff weekends reveal.
So like Necromunda shows redemptionists and then maybe one Cawdor guy (if they are a second box), that way could show a second guy on one of the Mondays.
Equally the OBR for Underworlds, maybe we only see the two models outlines already on Saturday.
Then we can get the other (or one of the others) on a Monday too.
Nit picking, but would have like to see redemtionist getting released alongside savvies. Makes me sad that there's no mutants to burn with these badboys
lost and damned log

Is the water guild the first guild we’ve gotten? Or what were the others in, or what do we think this will be in? Etc
The Slave Guild was the first we got models for. They’ve a;l had rules before but they’re coming again in the house books, with Coin and Power in the Orlock and Van Saar ones.

Scavvies might also prove attractive to CSM players as more varied Cultists.
Fed up of Scalpers? But still want your Exclusives? Why not join us?
A total of three models from the entire range. That’s it. And of those, only two don’t have alternatives for their role within the gang.
Wow, that Redeemer in the SOL page has such an awkward hold on his Eviscerator. Does he drop the book when he needs to take a swing?
If ForgeWorld does a new Klovis, I hope his pose is more like the original model:
(Not pictured is my Deacon Malakev because he got converted into a Tzeentch herald over almost two decades ago).
I'm liking the Redemptionist reveal today. Nice to see they didn't go the way of the Squats.

How so?
Aside from the mutations they’re supposed to be subject to (extra arms, heads etc. on the sprue) they’re also traditionally cheap but numerous, quantity over quality types. 15 rostered fighters in a starter gang was not uncommon in the old days. Not to mention the zombies.

Basically yeah.
Plus mutations look weird in duplicates, and they limit how limbs and scales/fur/etc line up, the bigger Scalies (the big brutes), and the zombies...
That's all really tricky to do with limited duplicate sprues. It makes for a gang that should be really diverse and weird look really static and predictable.

I'm kinda annoyed a giant ass laser Cannon has less damage overall than a fething sword. No I don't care if it's a demon sword.

Need to move away from resin=FW plastic=GW.
It’s not how they’re structured now.
Plastic resources are allocated to specialist games which is part of forge world.

We will see how the Scavvies will be like in Newcromunda. There's a lot of old Confrontation stuff in there, too. And there they were surely diseased, cannibalistic and not a pleasure to look at, but not freaky mutant clowns like in Outlanders. I personally adore the old Jes Goodwin models and hope they'll do something likewise.

Then Forgeworld isn't the relevant aspect- I'm not even sure its a meaningful subdivision at this point.
So the question is: Is this a plastic kit that will be available in the Boxed Games section of the GW website under Necromunda like the other gang expansions so far (and thus also available to retailers), or will it be on the Forgeworld website (probably with a significantly higher price point) and not sold in stores?
GW's internal structure is of no interest, just where it'll be sold. As far as I can tell, all the plastic kits have been on the GW website.
