TBH I'm really glad they haven't redone the old cadian kit. Knowing GW they would be twice the size. Invalidating everyones' collections.

It's a nice upgrade kit, but damn, I guess that kit is going to stick around even longer now

Not terribly convinced by adding an extra sprue to the Guard rather than just recutting that sprue to be a bit better proportioned.

Does suggest that isn't happening during 9th ed :-/

Also I thought GW knew better than to try and put female heads on obviously male bodies. That looks bad.

How noticeable you think boobs are going to be under a bunch of armor? Especially at the scale the game is, it's a bit silly to complain there aren't tits on the armor like with SoB.

That said, they should've redone the kit.

That said, they better not increase the price of the Cadian kit due to the upgrade sprue, considering every copy of the existing kit is essentially free as it has made it's cost back probably 100,000 times over....you know, being two decade old.

Seems a bit off, eh? Or rushed. Because they literally recut sprues and redid the bloody Space Marine Tacticals like every edition up to 8th. Can't even claim they were new. 3rd was new, 4th, 5th, 6th? Sprue recuts or new bits added.

They probably didn't want to update cadians, since if the new kits weren't multipart kits and were built around specific poses, heads, etc, then GSC would lose models and invalidate their upgrade sprue. Maybe?
