You know what they say. Pics or it didn't happen.

Yeah, I know, no point rehashing models they've already shown. I had still hoped for more. Now don't get me wrong, if GW is intent on primarisizing Sigmarines after only six years I can appreciate getting the core choices done and out of the way. Nothing wrong with the infantry per se (except for the fatboys, I really don't like those), but so far the new style Sigmarines don't have an eye-catching big or centerpiece unit. Just loads and loads of infantry. Bit dull making an army of just that.

I wonder if they ever meant to show the new starter sets in this preview but held off because they still have Dominion boxes left to sell through before they want to advertise the followup product. Been interested in those.

They fell for elven propaganda and don't have faith that one-string bows can work.

Yes, archers of late are not too much into shooting...
Blissbarb archers on foot have the same issue: most of them are running or posing, not actually shooting...

You'd hope someone would point out to the daft pointy-ears that their stringing system really doesn't work, and makes them look even more stupid than normal.

Is there anything not daft about Lumineth.

Eh, if the race created by Teclis has magic woven into its bows to make them work I'm not complaining. My pet theory is the three-string thing started as an idea for how to keep the top string from breaking as soon as someone brushes their hand across the top of the mini.

Agreed, and I think it fits the raider aspect of their fluff in channeling that archetype.

Well duh, all the people around them had horned helmets too!

But seriously, you know exactly what he meant.

Given that there are already multiple bow-armed Stormcast units, presumably the swords will help to differentiate them somewhat.

I really hate GWs Orcs/Orks/Orruks so I was initially hesitant about the Kruleboyz.

I frickin love them! I love them so much I actually pre-ordered Dominion. Haven't done that in a very long time.

Really like all the new Stormcast stuff too. I just wish they would drop the fascination with robes/dresses/"tabards" etc. Also the tactical detritus is a bit over the top on some of them.

Flying cavalry for the Kruleboyz is a bit of a surprise, but a welcome one to make them different to the rest of the greenskin factions, looking forward to seeing the models when they get released. Really liking the Kruleboyz so far, more so than anything else Orukk related.

You can sort of see one of the new mounts on the new battletome cover. There's a feather winged monster on the far right corner that definitely doesn't belong to Ironjawz, Gloomspite, or Bonesplittaz. I'm guessing all the unsolved vulture rumor engines will go to the Kruelboyz?

There is at least one Stormcast dragon coming, possibly a cavalry unit too.

In a new warhammer community article https://www.warhammer-community.com/2021/07/07/expert-painters-take-on-the-dominion-stormcast-eternals-and-the-results-are-inspiring/ there's a new stormcast with a headswap - does anyone know what helmet it is? It looks like a Sisters of Battle one, but the eyes are different and it looks like the lower half of the face isn't covered like theirs are.

Yeah, I think you can see it on the website. The guy holding the banner has it, I believe.

Chris Peach loves using them for his Cities of sigmar army (uses them as irondrakes), so it's got to be possible to find them in bulk somewhere online

I came to this thread to find that out too - Sigmarine's look waaaay better with a standard helmet and a normal color scheme. I could see myself painting up some of those.

Stormcast, changing their heads for a bunch of normal, heavy knight helmets, and with really any other colour scheme than golden makes a "meh" army into the best heavy knight-warriors themed army out there.

Check out his instagram (the_convertorum). He has a couple in that style and they all look really great. Very Brettonian. Even the ones without special helmets are cool (I think he probably used some grey knight heads for the helmetless ones)

No great shock that the July collectors coin is a Stormcast Eternal one, the miniature of the month (both available from July 10th) is a unique(?) sculpt Vindicator with debris strewn base. Photo from the Coventry GW store Facebook page:
