I am just a little confused, like I don’t even know if a fantastic use of the licence or the worst.

I find too many candles are overpowering so don’t use them often.
I can’t imagine the market is huge for these, but feel it’s a missed chance to at least have a craftworlds gardens.

Well, here’s the bottom of the barrel merchandise we can expect from Lootcrate.
The only market I can think is “a joke gift” or a “genuine gift from a person who doesn’t know anything about warhammer, but know his buddy likes it”.

Now we know what the design team where smoking when they designed <insert product here>.

That place is the harsh dark future far left with only war left.

Remember that a candle is an open flame, which means that it can easily ignite anything that can burn. NFPA shares a few candle fire safety tips to consider.

Candle fire facts
During the five-year period of 2014-2018:

Candles caused 2% of reported home fires, 3% of home fire deaths, 6% of home fire injuries, and 4% of the direct property damage in home fires.
Roughly one-third (37%) of home candle fires started in bedrooms. These fires caused 40% of the associated deaths and 49% of the associated injuries.
Falling asleep was a factor in 10% percent of the home candle fires and 15% of the associated deaths.
On average, 21 home candle fires were reported per day.
Three of every five (60%) of home candle fires occurred when some form of combustible material was left or came too close to the candle.
December is the peak time of year for home candle fires. In December, 12% of home candle fires began with decorations compared to 4% the rest of the year.

[also don't get it too near to plastic or packaging or glue fumes ]

Being a Wargamer and a buyer of scented candles, I might be part of the tiny overlap in demographics. But even then, I wouldn't buy this because I would never get crappy branded products when there are plenty of excellent products on the market already.

To heck with the scented candles, how are the ugly sweaters a real thing?!?

Granted, they've got a red sweater that they're calling "Chaos Reigns Khorne Ugly Christmas Sweater/Jumper" that appears to have generic/Horus iconography rather than Khornate iconography. But still.

They offered a black and white ugly sweater last year that was a bit more understated and honestly, the quality was great. Very happy with that purchase.

I don't know about the US but crap Christmas jumpers have definitely become a UK thing.

I myself have a Star Wars Christmas sweatshirt, a jumper with a rolling eyes Rudolph and a 'Christmas hat wearing Gorilla saying "Humbug"' T Shirt.

I don't pay Merchoid £39.99 for a Star Wars jumper prices though.

These will look great in the far background of a thumbnail for a YouTube video mostly comprising of someone’s face as they pretend to make a video about their hobby.

There’s a difference between having a hobby and being a narcissist.

And in reality they’ll just be regular like fruit flavoured candles, just with a fun sticker on the lid.

It seem strange that they want you to spend £14 on a candle without telling you what it smells like..... I dont think anyone associates nice smells with our hobby stores...

They do tell you. It smells like a Death World or the Great Devourer.

Personally, I think Death World will be vanilla with a hint of Ikea! I've never been to one because I treat Ikea as I would treat a Death World.

Maybe a nice Egyptian Cotton and baby talc for the Tyranid one.

Hopefully, they don't capture the musky essence of polyester T-Shirts after five hours Summer wargaming in a non-ventilated space.

Great Devourer will smell like a Mukbang Youtuber's bedroom.

What is next 40K flavoured Condoms?

The objective of the game is to win. The point of the game is to have fun. The two should never be confused.

That would be just useless as 40k-branded deodorants or soap.

My prediction for scents is as follows.

Slaanesh = Ball sweat
Catachan = Dense rain forest after a storm.
Dark Angels = Dry musty parchment.
Tau = That peculiar smell of a brand new office space in a freshly built office block.
Tyranid = Beery vomit with a hint of kebab after a long night out.
