I exploded their toilets so, youre welcome.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

So they can anticipate rules abuse, after all.

From the legal page, it looks like they only have it lumped into two different areas and prizes to satisfy the different legal requirements in different countries.

GW have run various similar contests in the past - the reader's survey way back in the day that had one person win a copy of every boxed set currently (at that time, obviously) in production, and the 'win the height of a Space Marine in miniatures' one from the slightly less distant past jump to mind. Those only had a single winner, and I don't recall anyone ever claiming before that this was an issue.

It's a contest to win some stuff. That's better than not having a contest to win some stuff.

I mean in jurisdictions like Canada and the US where you can only get one entry, it's not fair to lump them in with the brits who can get an entry for every 10 pounds they spend.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Which is presumably why they haven't.

Although for as long as I can remember, that's how Australian-run promotions have run down here. When I was a kid cereal companies used to frequently run promotions where you had to collect a certain number of tokens off the box and post them in for a chance to win something. You could generally enter as many times as you wanted... except if you lived in South Australia where that sort of thing wasn't allowed, and you could instead submit a single entry usually consisting of a drawing of the cereal box.

Fair or not, it's just one of those things that comes from different jurisdictions having different rules around how contests like this can work.

I imagine that GW’s legal team is on a rather different wage scale than their rules monkeys…

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
