Yeah I don't remember Daemons having any pertinent rumors.

It seems obvious that its chaos related in some capacity though, the question is which chaos faction for which game.

We have rumors for possessed humans for Chaos Space Marines, so half-daemons if you will. Might be from those.

Got the vibe that this is the end of a music instrument of sorts.

Daemon Primarch backpack vents? Although again, the white teeth make it look alive, not an item.

I mean, if I was a daemon I would play a living instrument that screamed as I blew into the reed. Doesn't have to be brass.

It does look somewhat Khornate to me, usually Khorne stuff has spikey horns and such on it, the face looks kinda bloodthirster-ish. Does Daemon Primarch Angron wield an axe? It looks like it could be the end of an axe haft.

yeah I think they were mentioned in the "in the pipeline" part along with Squats, World Eaters and Guard.

Isn't the Khornate look kind of the problem? I hear Khorne becomes quite irate at the suggestion "doesn't have to be brass, I prefer to blow fleshy pipes".
