I would like Space Marines to not get more models for many years. Thank you.

Factions are [should be] defined as much by what they lack as what they have in terms of units and options.

Yeah, thank you
But nowadays, everyone wants everything and necrons got speedy assault units, tau got titans etc...
The game has lost a lot in this area, I believe

Necrons have always been speedy, and even mildly capable in assault. The slow thing is a myth based on how GW wanted you to MAKE the army via just lumbering blocks of Warriors.

I think I'd rather go with bringing out all the Primarchs and tooling them so they work with successor chapters. For the few that don't have Primarchs, I'd give them a Primarch-esque model that does the same thing - LOW, Supreme Commander, works with Successor Chapters, large-ish monsters

Revamp the Sanguinor (or make a new thing) to be an Ersatz Sanguinius, Ironhands could get a Ferrus Imprinted Dread (In the fluff, RG was planning for his death and the continuation of his Legion without him - it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to think Ferrus might have done the same thing and built a Dread/Robot with his brain downloaded into it- it has just been lost in the warp or something)

The main issue with making them work for their successors is potential min-maxing of custom traits so maybe tie it to Inheritors of the Primarch that one I don't know.

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.

I want the Emperor of Mankind as a LoW, but I won't be satisfied unless they retcon the entire setting to make it so that Emps was really alive and well the whole time. I will only buy an Empra model if He was the one who saved Macragge and I will complain about the lore until they change it so that He saved Baal too.

Plastic Thunderhawk. Its an ubiquitous piece of gear, every marine chapter has them.

Astraeus Super Heavy primaris tank can come in plastic when Firstborn finally get legended into HH only

lord of war to me for space marines.

First off primarchs, specifically Khan, and the Lion, I would not want to see Russ yet rather somethign cool like the end of an edition where he comes back for the wolftime bringing in a new edition with codex space wolf being that editions first codex for the glow up.

another lord of war option (that i think should be available to all imperial and chaos codexes) allow one imperial or chaos knight to be attached to any imperial or chaos army without losing thier special faction specific rules/ buffs.

plastic thunderhawk already mentioned, but it would be cool to have another type of big tank attached to the space marines, maybe the spartan assault tank in the upcoming HH boxset or something .

Ok, different take. The LOW choice should be a Land Raider Squadron, with some dope buffs/capabilities.

Imo that's really the only way to go, besides a Thunderhawk. No big tanks, no Primarchs, etc.

SUPER PRIMARIS!!! It's a regular Primaris, INSIDE another, BIGGER primaris. And this one ALSO has a Bolter, with the exact same profile as the other Space Marines..... RF2 24" S4 AP1 D1. Because reasons. OR YOU CAN GIVE IT A KNIFE.

GW? You always know exactly what I want and how to sell it to me. You had me at "give it a knife".

Except it's called a Super Bolter just to make sure it has a separate line in the weapon reference table.

The Golden Throne, it has to be on a base to big to fit in your deployment zone though so can't actually play it. It comes with two plastic Warlord Titans as guards

If there is going to be a new plastic lord of war for marines (and that's a big if), I would prefer something more generic like a vehicle rather than a special character that is unique to a specific chapter.
Maybe with the new Horus Heresy coming, the rumored plastic Spartan could fill that role. Would be nice to have a transport that could carry both firstborn and primaris marines.

Just make a plastic Astraeus. Done. Gw obviously wants to stick with Primaris for any "new" loyalist stuff.
