They appear 3D printed in the photos, looking around it seems this is more of a board game than the typical wargame.

Is this the 2022 equivalent of the spaceship/space fighter combat revival of a few years ago? Just today I saw the thread about the not-Crimson Skies return by Weisman and now this.

As long as one or both have custom fighter construction rules I can't see a downside to having more designs to choose from. As a nitpicking thing, I don't really agree with calling it diesel punk if it's set in 1948 but I suppose the inter-war tech could continue for another decade if WW2 wasn't there in their timeline to speed things up.
