Part of me really wants these helmets to make a rat themed nurgle army. Rats aren't really touched upon in nurgle, and the only time I've seen anyone make a rat death guard character was some youtube. Toss in some of those mites from the gellerpox and its perfect.

any news or rumors on when more non-tank releases are coming? It's great that we've gotten the predators, rhinos, land raiders, etc all out, but gosh golly I could use some assaulty boys.

I disagree. I'm expecting a killteam-like release pattern. Steady and regular, but also accompanied by much wailing here that it's not fast enough. Definitely plenty more to come between now and summer anyway.

Agreed on the drip releases. A single running infantry sprue for despoilers can then be used as the base for assault marines, then destroyers and melee upgrade options would be more sales. Whirlwind and vindicator are both a pair of sprues on the deimos chassis. Cerberus and typhon could be a single sprue swap in the Spartan kit. The Predator upgrades are coming out alongside the Squats, so we know that gw is fine with releasing hh kits without dedicating an entire release slot on them.

I guess rats would never fit in Nurgles cheerful and easy going theme. Skavens has pretty much nailed the rat theme with their frantic idustrious evil swarms that is far from Grandfather Nurges warm, feverish and loving embrace.

You're not being very coherent. If your resin FW model (which you did not mention before) came with doors that don't fit it, write to FW and they will sort you out. If you're asking if Rhino doors fit on a plastic Spartan, then no, why would they, Land Raider doors fit on a plastic Spartan.

So you are saying you didn't know Land Raider Armoured Proteus comes with Rhino doors and not Land Raider doors.. Well, it does. It would of course be logical to assume that Land Raider doors fit Land Raiders, but this is GW, so that only makes sense most of the time, not all the time.

Yes, the Armoured Proteus and Land Raider Mk IIB uses Rhino-size doors. People might be excused to think you were taking about the new plastic Proteus given that this is a thread in News & Rumours and the Armoured Proteus is eleven years old.

FW is currently not making neither Land Raider doors nor Mars Rhino doors so you are out of luck regardless of which Land Raider you are using, so what is the point of your rant?

Prior to HH 2.0, my only Land Raider kit was the Armoured Proteus.. which explains why I existed in a Kafkaesque alternate universe where I erroneously thought all modern land raider kits come with Rhino doors. Mystery solved, carry on

Not sure on those Iron Hands bits. The cataphractii shoulders look pretty good, but the fingers on everything else are pretty... iffy.

So the Made to Order Iron Hands & Night Lord stuff is not compatible to the new HH 2.0 minis? I might be wrong but the minis presented here (1:02 min, Iron Hands) look to me like old models:

They are old minis and are incompatible with the mk6. It used to be everyone (more or less) had mk3 and mk4 shoulderpads, heads, and Torsoes and most had mk2 as well. Took most of the torsoes off over the years and by 2.0's launch it was a mix of both mk3 and m4 pads and helmets, which legion was which mark depended. They've slowly begun rolling them back in.

They were designed to work with the Plastic Mk3 and 4, as well as the resin Mk2-6 suits.

I hope with the cultist rules that there are options that would allow one to use the new Accursed models. I'm pretty sure that that unit itself won't be in the game, but maybe there could be something for mutant cultists or rules for Chaos enhancements.

Beastmen were present in the Imperial Army before and during the HH, so having that is a possibility.

If you're rolling Tainted Flesh, then you could use the Accursed Cultists as Levy squads and the Beastmen as Infantry squads. Assuming that we keep Provenances and that one in particular.

I'm just sad I wasn't able to sell my Primus Medicae on ebay for 200 euros :( Damn it...
