So what titan-scale arm weapons haven’t shown up on a tank chassis yet?

Excluding the melee ones: Laser Blaster, Gatling Blaster, Missile Launcher, Melta Cannon(?) - plus the weird FW ones (Graviton, Conversion Beam).

Why exclude the melee options? Who wouldn’t want to field a superheavy tank with a giant chainsword mounted on it?

CHARGE!!1!!

Note the 28mm ones. Then note the Quad Heavy Bolter Sponsons.

I know we do this dance everytime a new LI kit for a non-plastic Heresy kit is shown off. And it’s rarely confirmation of an upcoming plastic kit.

Here, it could just be the existing Resin Kit with the new sponsons. And there’s strong precedent for that being the case during 2nd Ed’s life.

What I’m asking is for people with the resin one to have a look at the other visible details and weigh in.

Quoting oneself is horrifically gauche, but bear with me.

Pinched from Reddit (OP is one carnagexscissors). Chose this one as it’s the pic closest in orientation.

Note the differences in the front of the two. LI teaser image has a block grill thing. Reddit one? None of that.

Am now pretty confident this is indeed a sign the plastic Falchion is coming. So that’s welcome!

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Also as a friend point out? The round embarkation hatches are a new feature to the presumably for now plastic one.

Arguably none of the Legions Imperialis cover art models have materialised as 28 mm minis for sale. A plastic Falchion may well be on its way, but this is in no way proof or indication of that.

The felblade kit is clearly designed for a simple one sprue swap to make a glaive. Galchion and new tank would need to swap out the top plate and turret sprues at a minimum but it could be done.

I think there will be some delay between the fellblade and glaive, and then a longer one before a falchion in plastic. Putting out too many superheavy heavy sm hulls would cause issues with demand, especially when solar aux and mechanicum don't have superheavies yet in plastic, quite a few infantry and normal tank kits need upgrades, and custodes will be getting an upcoming wave

Maybe, but that’s not really how their release schedule works. Otherwise we would have had plastic Breachers 2 years ago, and we’d have plastic Javelins rather than those (IMO) lame Araknae gun platforms.

On Warhammer Community we’re making a humble offering to the Omnissiah with a new reveal, taking a closer look at the rules of Warhammer Quest: Darkwater, and finding out more about Ferren Areios.

More Skitarii 30K maybe? Domitar?

Well, I hope it's for 30k. The last 40k releases (sans KT - that was okay) were... not the best design decisions. Wild West, Inspector Gadget and DaVinci aren't the best inspirations.

A new Titan for the Epic range would be the sensible announcement right now. They've just had generous previews for both Heresy and Legions, while Titanicus hasn't had anything of use since the Dark-Mech walkers.

Unless they're doing an Ad-Mech release for 500 Worlds...

I’m hoping something Mechanicum over Mechanicus.

Even just a basic Tech Priest would be nice. A multi-part kit would be ideal, given how the Mechanicum army list is organised.

Plastic Myrmidons!

The Myrmidon Destructor Host prepares to deliver a litany of devastation

Automatically Appended Next Post:
The Myrmidon Destructor Host contains six brand new plastic miniatures that can each be equipped with darkfire cannons, esoteric energy weapons favoured by the Mechanicum, or irradiation engines, which shower enemy and surrounding areas alike with deadly radiation.
No Volkite or Conversion beamers?

Pretty big deal to have this in plastic. Of course GW would start with the naff loadout first.

They look quite different from their resin predecessors in my eyes. Not sure yet if better or worse, because I never was a fan of the old ones' and I'm not totally sold on these as well They do look more like Mechanicum than Obliterator though, which is nice.

I think the resin should pads gave a better silhouette, honestly. These sit too high and look like they're floating.

Somewhat phallic to be replacing the unit entry in the liber with mandatory splat books (I hope all those out there who claimed they were entirely optional are willing to stand and be counted) already though.

Yeah - being a bit lower and connected to the front armour might look better.
