Spotted the following text on today’s Rumour Engine. To avoid clogging up that thread, thought it deserved its own topic\

Apologies in advance if this turns out to be a false alarm, but with CSM and Knights recently released, and Daemons already previewed, I wasn’t aware we were expecting more Chaos. But the quoted text does seem to be telling us of more to come?

Dare we hope for an honest to badness Cults/Lost and the Damned type Codex at long, long last?

Well, it could be some stuff for the World Eaters.

Also didn't we understand there were new CSM bikes from the super leak? So there might have been a few things held back for a wave 2.

That pyramid thing that people think is an AOS Tzeentch terrain feature might be usable in 40k too.

That's definitely part of a second wave or the Deamons book, but they've already shown it so it's not likely to be anything to fill out a week of Rumour Engine pictures.

Leaked is not the same as Officially Shown Off by GW. At least, not to GW.

Still, there's a lot of chaos stuff left this year- daemons (may get 0 models) World Eaters (lots), StD, possibly Warcry.

There are enough new releases to fill out some rumor engines without any chance of another new (sub)faction this year. (two (WE and Squats) is almost certainly enough)

Do note that only the leaked things acknowledged in a Warhammer Community article are guaranteed to exist as far as GW is concerned and would therefore not show up in a rumor engine (unless someone screws up).

There is no such guarantee for leaked but unacknowledged stuff. Now of course we know those leaked things are coming and GW knows that we know. You'd think that was enough, and maybe it is, but there's no guarantee that parts of such models won't show up even if they're technically already solved. Because things don't exist until GW says they do.

I'm inclined to agree, although there's some missing models still for chaos marines now, so a 2nd wave with huron, Exalted Champ to replace missing models, then bikers and a new defiler and the range is in a really good place.

Ok_E has been talking about a Brazen Beasts warlord with ties to DarkMech and a Lord-Discordant on a Helstalker. Good bets those are C and D 4 from the rumor bingo.

That's a pretty wild rumor, but I'd love for it to be true, as the Brazen Beasts have a lot of potential as a faction.
