You should see my Vampire Counts army. It's a mix of 3rd, 4th/5th, and 6th models.

Great, those chariots have gotten expensive on eBay and I've been wanting to get a second one. Too bad the Warhounds set doesn't seem to include the elusive Warhounds 2 and 3.

But why won't GW give us Azazel?

Any word on pricing for those yet? The chaos sorcerer with familiar might get bought, reminds me of the old Mark of Chaos video game.

Does anyone remember if those war hounds were the hybrid plastic/metal kits or solid metal?

If I wasn't already swimming in Chaos Sorcerers I would definitely get in on this.

As I have ten of those dogs and two of those chariots this one may be a pass.

Had the WD in the 90's, read the background about an unearthly beautiful and seductive Daemon prince and then looked at the model.

I'm in the process of repainting & rebasing mine. If the price isn't insane, I might have to grab another.

Fond, Christmas related memories of that Chariot. Ended up with three that year. Also a load of the Marauder Ogres.

I remember that, for a metal kit, it was a pretty forgiving build.

I always liked the sorcerers on foot from that Chaos era, it's a shame that they suffer from the head protuding from chest syndrome.

Still, they have bags of character, I'll pick them up if they are £25 or less for the three.

The Chaos hounds are great minis, I've already got some but I'd defo like some more.

I picked up a bunch of those hounds ages back - great metal models. Honestly not sure if I'll still use them in my super slow to build StD army for AoS or hide them in Soulblight as they've gone very wolfy

They look like they would fit very well with the SBGL Direwolves.

Yeah the main issue is they are a bit smaller and more lanky. Might be they look good on their own or could put two or so to a single base just to make them look more swarmy .

Thinking of getting the sorcerer with familiar. Do they charge immediately, or only when it ships (id prefer to pay cash, but only if they charge up-front).

You pay up front and then they make the order up. Sometimes (most times)they have a portion of stock already made so if you're lucky you might get it quicker

Love those models myself, but I don't think I'll get any for now. Still have an Empire MTO still pending (and it wasn't cheap!)

I have one chariot already and love it, but I don't think I'll get another one. The hounds are really nice but got enough plastic ones from later edition so I got that covered. And I seems to be in the minority but I'm really not a fan of the 3-pack wizards, not digging those! The solo one is nice tho, but no really need him there.

I'm just glad we keep getting those waves of MTO models!

I'm betting the hounds will be in a batch. I only need 2 to complete my unit and have no desire to have odd models out.

The hounds look nice. I remember old scaly daemon dogs. But anything is better than the plastic chaos hounds that looks like the were designed by hana barbera

Keeping the tails attached on those old hounds was a job and a half.

Furry dogs probably influenced by the ”death dogs” in Willow. Come to think of it general Kael would make a pretty good chaos lord.

Interesting... They added this old Lord to the MTO without any fanfare:

I would have missed him if I wasn't scrolling through the pics om Sunday's Warcom post.

According to Squarebased the war wagon alone sold 30k models. Though Rob only hinted that this was insider info and didn't outright confirm it. That's an absurd number, if it's true it indicates how profitable TOW must be (at least until everyone gets their fill and GW is back to the old issue at the end of 8th where all the grognards already had enough of everything they wanted)

Well, this Grognard is waiting on 2 things:
1) Kislev (new)
2) for them to reach waaaay back into the archives & reprint me some Slaan Jaguar Warriors etc. or a Dwarf Juggernaut (1984)
Till then? I don't really need anything WHFB/Old World.
