Wonder if today’s one might be suggestive of a wider theme. As noted in other posts, previous Advent Engine have shown off a forthcoming boxed set. But that’s not guarantee this year is following suit.

My first thought was "Ravenguard, possibly Corax' jumppack". This looks like stylised feathers to me, but they have an eery blade-like feeling as well - which would fit the description of Corax' jumppack. Maybe this is just another RG character.

The same line of reasoning would support that Necromunda predator character.

Not connected it looks like. This one seems to be 40k.

Oddly enough my first thought was "Wood Elves". The skeleton has some pretty Bretonnian looking ornament on its chest, and the lower end of the picture fits with the style of tree-tentacles Dryads and their AoS cousins have.

The ornament is the only thing that made me a bit pensive. But that's a pipe the skeleton is speared on. Can see a "T" join even!

Yeah, wood elves aren’t much into factory-made fitted pipework.
TBH the first time I saw it I thought SoB… but looking at the seal I’m thinking inquisition centrepiece. Freshly incinerated heretic, certified cleansed.

Hmmm, interesting. Could be some 40k Imperial cult but doesn't 100% fit a DIY Cawdor style, and the stuff at the bottom looks more 'magical' than how GW usually models fire? But then there'd also be enough opportunities to scavenge pipes in AoS, between Kharadron, Ironweld etc.

It looks like the symbol is crossed bones, as opposed to just a normal cross or "X"

Not that makes it any easier to identify lol

Looks exactly like an exeptionally busy piece of nonsense tacked on to a model to make it more of a centerpiece without actually making sense for the design.
But why would GW do a crazy thing like that?

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark, and say its a new plastic Fydor model. Because flaming skeletons stuck through stuff seems like his cup of tea.

Why is the icon on the chest bones and not an Inquisitorial =I=? Why is it stuck through a pipe and not on a stick? Don't question it.

I swear that cross symbol looks familiar. Cities of Sigmar maybe? Empire? I feel like I should know it.

Well the old skeleton warriors had crossed bones on their shields. It could be a nod to that.

People saying that looks like a pipe, true, but also looks like the crosspiece of a standard.

I think it’s pipework.

But…what’s going on with Skellington’s hand? Is it mutated into a claw, or is it embedded in wax or similar?

Good spot; if it’s a mutation, that might support “purged heretic diorama piece” even more.

Cities of Sigmar have some love for the display of the dead, limited but it is there. So this could be Cities of Sigmar on some machine with pipework.

Otherwise I'd lean toward either Necromunda or Chaos in 40K or perhaps Chaos in AoS.

The purity seal or whatever ends in forked points, not something the Imperium usually goes for. Given the whole twin-tail comet obsession, I'm saying something Sigmarite.

Oh, hey, what pirate factions we got?

Mama mia, it makes so much sense. After the success of the Mario movie, he's coming to 40k as well. I guess Orks are just big mushrooms, so he'll be fine
