I've been subscribed from the start.

Frankly, with 11 sets each month, I'd be perfectly content with say, 5 'big' packs of miniatures and stuff and 6 packs that are a single character or maybe just a set of arm and weapon options for existing packs. As long as none of the categories hog all the full packs or get stuck with only upgrade packs, that would be a great solution.

As an example, for Classic Fantasy one month, we get something like the skeleton ogre, but maybe with more weapon options and perhaps a command set. But the next month, maybe we get a fuller range of arms with lots of poses and weapon variety for the Halfling plastic kit or maybe a prior month's release like the cultists.

I have the same feeling. The first releases like the hoplites were sets that were intended for plastic production. If you compare the options of the hoplites with that stamford and landsknecht set.. big difference in options and quality. Their latest historical sets are not so stellar compared with current plastic or metal mini's and not of the same level as other historical patreon / tribes as Medbury and Reconquer designs. Our kits are detailed by the same talented sculpting team that work on our plastics. We don't compare ourselves to other digital/STL file content creators like those you mentioned

I was subscribed from the start until two months ago. They can't keep up Incorrect, see below, the amount what they want to release each month is way to much and the releases are suffering from it.

I'm subscriber number... 3 or something. I'd be happy with 2-3 full kits a month sculpted to the same quality level they do for injection molding.

Yes, I don't doubt that they are from the same sculptors, imo the options / quality is suffering because they are racing through the sculpting. I would happly be subscribed for the same price or even a bit more if you would do only one release per month (historical) with a diverse range of bodies / heads / arms / weapons.

But for what is now, I don't feel it is worth it.

Made a little The Last War gang using only WGA plastic and printed parts, apart from a few basing bits.

They fit pretty well but the digital nurses are a bit taller than the Great War plastic regiments.

Thanks for the heads up. It looks like there is some variation from the digital to the plastics so I grabbed them for variety. Definitely hoping for mutated monstrosities (Chaos Spawn) in the Gamefound campaign.

The News and Rumors section is all about surprises. I'd certainly hate it if we got 100 posts saying "I know something you don't know..." - malfred

Tested a resin I had stored for almost two years in the closet (UNIZ zMUD Beige), which is also purportedly a bit choosy with the supports.

I got a small amount of failed supports, but in general the Fantasy Cultists turned out beautifully:

Printed at 50 microns/layer, meaning the coarsest I ever use. So... so far, so good.

Teaser: Death Fields SneakFeet!
Public
July 12, 2023 at 15:05

Like The Vain, The SneakFeet were similarly misled by greedy owners. Owned by Advantage DFCW, the team was first founded as a sniper-only unit made up of humans that had been reaped from a variety of Earth conflicts over the centuries. This was a long term project by the Advantage team owner who saw the market opportunity to provide specialist units as one-off match add-ons for existing teams.

Claiming that she could provide the team with genetic modifications that would allow them to increase their stealthiness, accuracy, and overall effectiveness, she failed to discuss the side effects to achieve these benefits: larger, padded feet for stealth and to make footwear unnecessary, diminished stature to better remain hidden, and the ability to consume massive quantities of food in order to achieve a hibernation-like state where even the heart rate slowed to a near stop.

Given that these changes were irreversible, the majority of the team have embraced their new abilities and continued to hone their skills on and off the battlefield. When the SneakFeet join another Death Fields team, spectators are guaranteed to see some truly impressive “feets” of marksmanship.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Edit:

but note when asked about females unit members Hudson answered

"not for this as we can only fit so much on the sprue"

despite it being on the digital sneak peak

so this may be in the wrong section?

As we say, just because something appears on the digital side doesn't mean it won't make the leap to plastic. As we've shown so far with The Damned and Grognard Cavalry.

You'll never see it coming!

Friends and hobbyists:

https://www.myminifactory.com/tribes/WargamesAtlantic/posts/Four_More_July_Sets_Launched_August_About_to_Hit-24018

We've posted a new update, listing for sets that have been uploaded to the storefront. As well as a veritable feast of teaser images.

Remember if you are interested in Atlantic digital products that we are running a Atlantic digital specific painting contest on our forums.

The prizes for this contest are custom sculpted heads and we can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for their entry.

Also remember that if you just want the death fields specific models, we have a death field specific patreon at a lower tier price point.

That being said, a tribes membership for everything is between $10 and $12 and you will get 11 kits per month.

This seems to be a Mycenaean charioteer. The armour is based on the famous Dendra panoply. That seems rather specific for the second plastic set of the first empires range, so I'm guessing that it is a digital product.

EDIT: apparently current thinking is that the Dendra panoply isn't necessarily charioteer armour, so this could simply be the Mycenaean heavy infantry mentioned in the Friday e-mail.
