Boarding actions were this season. A new season could be different, or follow up on season 2 by factions scavenging the wreckage of the crashed hulk.

Would be a good excuse to update Shining Spears and Rough Riders but they already did that.

Still no Necromunda, that really concerns me for the fact the Cawdor walkers were previewed six months before their release. (Preview Nov 22 - Release April 23)
If that trend continues that means it will be close to Christmas before we see anything new for the game.

Gw's already behind on production schedule and logistics.
At this stage i'd be surprised if they wanted to make it a surprise reveal.
Ontop of that, even if it comes, then the chances are high that it will get HH'ified, meaning decent support to start with before petering out before even the core is available.

Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH. |

Who even knows anymore, their releases outside of mainline 40k and AOS have been erratic at best, and even these seem to suffer under some sort of strain (see the delayed/cancelled SM supplements etc. for an example) that we are not acutely aware of, on top of the general warehouse issues that are still not solved apparently. They need to get their house in order before they expand further, but it's unclear how much say their creative division has in matters like these.

Just look at how sad preorder lineups have been lately. GW has been teasing a lot of BFG lately and zero Epic but with their logistics struggling as it is, I don't see them announcing a new side game. If one was planned at all, whichever one, it's the perfect candidate to be quietly cut from the schedule with zero drama since we don't even know it exists yet.

Eh, there's at least three teams (Chaos Dwarfs, Vampires and Tomb Kings) I'd like to see get released in plastic before they're done with Blood Bowl - and I wouldn't be against the idea of a Slaanesh or Tzeentch team either, as long as they have solid concepts for the positional players.
Just no more Elves, please...

They literally said that they will fully cover the 40K 10th edition launch box will be fully covered in the War-Com article, shouldn't you try and predict something spicier? Because I'm sure I can't lmao.
I wish they said they will give us a last chance at Indomitus Crusade because last time I didn't had my credit card and first time the page didn't worked, and now eBay, amazon and Mercado Libre scalpers have extortionist prices right now.
I kinda expect they will announce the next big campaing for AoS.
I just want info on TOW already.

I meant more from a perspective of a new version of the game, which entailed a new version of the rules with a 0.1% change from the previous one, where 'dash' has now been renamed 'sprint'. So for the next few years we play someone they will say "I'm going for it.. no damn, I'm going to dash.. no I mean sprint"
And now comes with a 17-sided dice.

Hopefully TOW preview will be chunky. It's very cool seeing they've done a full brettonian army from the old range for it, wishlist would be a couple more like that and then a Kislev army of predominantly new stuff to show direction of travel. Who knows though, might just be 3D renders and a lot of talk.

Best-case scenario is something like SoB where they jumped from a few renders straight to previews of units and then to the first half of the army.
Worst-case is yet more maps, renders and art while the actual game and models remain essentially vaporware.
We'll probably land somewhere in between. The more interesting and relevant part, at least for the health of the game and its future prospects, is their economic model, sales modalities, army sizes, release model and so on anyway, and that part will necessarily be quite talky. I don't see us getting much concrete information on all of that though, albeit if the rumours about a celebratory box around christmas time this year are true we may get a glimpse at this 'First chance to buy' thing.

For a game that's been in development for at least 4 years if not more, hopefully we get something chunky at this point. I'm not a betting man but I'd wager what you say here is probably what we can expect though.

I think we'll see some of new Khemri, as it seems some of the models have been shown to video games developers. Seeing the Bretonian army ahead of time was a surprise to be honest as I had assumed that they would have been in the launch box vs Khemri as the two big non- AoS factions. Though it feels like the launch box has to be the Seige of Praag from the setting - but if we're talking end of the year for that release we're not going to be seeing anything from the starter set I'd have thought.

The setting is the era that ends with the Siege of Praag. I doubt they're going to sell the ending as the first release.

Yes, but usually the date is precise for the year of release; even something brought out new in January has the current year stamped on it. The 'bots have been produced and then delayed by at least four months. Presumably because component #44 is not moulded correctly.

Blood Bowl went from getting around 4 plastic kits a year to just one every 12 months or something like that. It's a shame, been waiting on plastic Chorfs for quite a while now.
Tbh if I had to pick anything for GW to release it would be a new Space Hulk, but with Deathwing instead of Blood Angels. Or whatever...just reprint the more recent version, last time it was printed was 2014 or something like that, it's about time to bring Space Hulk back.

Blackstone Fortress is getting on in years now, and still sporting the old 40K logo, so I can see it going soon and making way for something else. Space Hulk would be an ideal replacement.

Agreed, would like to see them at least finish the teams of legend before they abandon it again, at least once the teams of legend are done we won't need anything besides a few token balance patches and the odd issue of Spike.
