Not watching it right now, so breaking the rules of my own thread lol, but I rewatched Golden Eye last night for a New Years Eve treat and, bloody hell, I love that movie more and more the more I rewatch it. Up with Casino Royale as my top favourite James Bond movies. Both directed by Martin Campbell. He's up there in awesomeness with Syama Pederson who made Astartes as awesome, creative Kiwis in my book!

My story! Secret War
After his organisation is hired to hunt down an influential gang leader on the Hive world, Omnartus. Attelus Kaltos is embroiled deeper into the complex world of the Assassin. This is the job which will change him, for better or for worse. Forevermore. Chapter 1.
The Angaran Chronicles: Hamar Noir. After coming back from a dangerous mission which left his friend and partner, the werewolf: Emilia in a coma. Anargrin is sent on another mission: to hunt down a rogue vampire. A rogue vampire with no consistent modus operandi and who is exceedingly good at hiding its tracks. So much so even the veteran Anargrin is forced into desperate speculation. But worst of all: drive him into desperate measures. Measures which drives Anargrin to wonder; does the ends, justify the means?
21 Jump Street for the first time on TVNZ+, I think I need a bit of fun/funny escapism right now with what's happening in the world right now.

My friend got me into watching Moral Orel and it's...really something.

Not too into medical dramas, but this was getting all sorts of rave reviews and after 1 episode, I might be hooked. Looks to be following a busy ER during 1 shift, with maybe each episode doing 1 hour into the shift.
I dig everything about it so far.

As a member of his Merchant's Guild and of Jewish descent, I am ashamed of how long it's taken me to get around to watching Sseth Tzeentach's latest video!

I watched Dodgeball last night. It was alright, quite forgettable even with Ben Stiller hamming it up to the high hills and back. Jason Bateman and his "it's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see how this turns out for 'em" line is great and a meme for good reason. I find it hard to believe Vince Vaughn as a good guy, lol. It certainly doesn't rank up with Zoolander or Anchorman, or I think the underrated Talladega Nights: The ballad of Ricky Bobby.

I just watched Artemis headed towards the Moon. It was frigging cool.

"Tank Overhaul, S1/Ep1, The A3 Comet" on Prime.
Guys at a British Tank Museum are restoring an A3 Comet. Pretty interesting. And very on theme as I'm building some British armor for Bolt Action while watching stuff!
The funny thing is that I didn't actually select this show. It just started auto playing after a crappy action movie I had on ended.

That sounds right up my alley. Thanks, I'll check it out!
I barely watch anything, but I heard someone mention Paradise was good so I checked it out. There are things I didn't love, but after finishing season 2 I want to go back and rewatch season 1. If you want to check it out go in with as little foreknowledge about the show as possible. It's a post-apocalyptic sci-fi show, but the sci-fi doesn't get as obvious till season 2. Somewhat of a more well thought out Lost. Two 8 episodes seasons so far and filming the last 8 episode season now, so they went in with a plan and we will see if they can stick the landing.
Saw the Mario Galaxy movie with the family the other day. It was alright - honestly not as bad as the likes of The Guardian made out. If you're into Mario and Nintendo generally (there are cameos of Pikmin, Fox McCloud etc) then it's fine. It's not great, there's not really much in the way of laughs, or nuance, or puns or in-jokes for older viewers or anything. And it's a bit insipid. I don't really regret seeing it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again...
Napoleon Blownapart’s new video “You Don’t Hate Zuffa Boxing Enough”.
Hour or so long dive into how Zuffa Boxing is well on its way to upending or ending the boxing world, and all of the shady dealings(Saudi money), shady characters (Saudi’s with the money), backstabbing and other assorted skullduggery in the fight business.
It also reminded me that Power Slap still exists in some form, in which “athletes” concuss each other intentionally for a small paycheck. While I know no one is forced into that “sport”, it made me sad that people are so foolish.

Rewatching the Mandolorian before seeing the movie this weekend (Sunday)
15 episodes to go over the next 4 days.
And since today's supposed to be a lot of rain, that'll give me an excuse to watch a few more episodes than originally planned as it'll cancel the yard work I had on the to do list.
Tried rewatching The Penguin on my flights to and from Colorado Springs this weekend. It’s an amazing show start to finish, but damn if it doesn’t make me feel… filthy.
I watched it twice when it was new and fresh, but there are so many gut punches in this show that I’m probably not going to be able to watch it again until I forget a good deal of it. Though, if there is an (unlikely) season 2, I’d watch the hell out of that.

UFC at the White House(UFC Freedom 250 officially) last night was such a spectacle I might just rewatch it. So much could have went south, be it the weather, security or boring fights, but everything delivered.
Marine Corps band damn near stole the show from a full card of exciting fights. Might've re-ignited my love of combat sports.
Though the walkouts were egregiously long, if I do rewatch, it'll probably be at increased speed.

1 episode in and it’s already deviated so far from the source material in ways that don’t make much sense. Perhaps it will all come together later, but I’m already worried. They are staying true to key points so that’s a good sign. It’s just the filler/composite characters that are bothering me.
Though, had I not been familiar with the book, this episode probably would have been pretty intense.

Wanting something playing in the background while i build Votann, I hit season 1 of Supernatural the other evening.
1) ive never watched it before.
2) for whatever reason it was featured in the top row of my Prime Video.
(Probably because Ackels is in noth it & The Boys and I watched the latter the other week)
Its not bad, but after 1 season & a few episodes of S2?
I have to wonder how it lasted 15 seasons?
And thyre full 20+ episode seasons!
Ill watch it through the end of my Votann building project, but there's no way I'm watching all 15 seasons of this.
Yeah, Outside of I think season 7 Supernatural is just a genuinely good show over time. It takes till season 3 to really get going and has an off episode here and there (what 20+ episode a season show doesn't) but the overall arch is pretty great.
